Prologue

Pitter patter. Pitter patter. Pitter patter. Rain splattered against the ground outside the one odd house on Piviot Drive, Delaware. Even in the stormy weather where the clouds were as dark as the asphalt outside the house, it still stuck out like a beacon in the darkening world around it. The walls were not the normal white that most houses were, but a bright neon yellow with the darkest black shudders and door you could have ever seen. Outside were many rosebushes, and the grass seemed as green as green could get, the wet tear drops from the sky making it glisten ever so slightly as it started to cease, sunlight reaching through the clouds like snakes of gold swimming through the murky waters of a lake. This was the house of Jacoby and Delaney Summers, 14 year old twins that, if they knew how much their life would change that day, would have been more conscious to lock the door, and to get out of that house. As soon as possible.
