Which should I play, Guitar or Piano?

Well, here's the deal. There's a music school next door to us, so I'm going to learn an instrument.
I want to learn either guitar or piano.
I've played the piano for around 3 years, and I've never played the guitar. On one hand, I'm pretty good at piano, on the other hand, I'd like to try something new.
What's your opinion?

I say you should keep at piano. Just my opinion. I hear piano makes other instruments easier.

The piano!

Since you've already been playing piano for a while, I'd go with guitar. You could keep trying to teach yourself on your own for piano, though, too.

And plus, if you're looking to play popular music like by peoples like the JoBros, it's easier to find free guitar music than piano. xD

Well, it's whatever you feel most comfortable with! You might want to stick with something you have more experience with; so learning would be easier. Pugs is right; learning the piano will make other instruments seem much easier...or so I've been told; that's how it was with my brother! Just go with what you think is best. xD

Well, I still say, that if you already have the concept of piano, it will be easy to do, because now you know how, and you can take up guitar, because that is one thing I really wish I could learn. Just play guitar, and chances are you'll go far. (Of course, that was kinda stolen from a song.)

I voted piano, but since I'm a [fairly] experienced piano player, I can probably give a little more info for you.

Piano: Well, piano is an awesome instrument. You'll get AMAZING at reading sheet music if you stick with it, and you'll learn a lot. I've heard that playing piano is excellent for math skills, and this is definitely true for me. After six [going on seven] years of playing this lovely instrument, I'm quite good at math.

Guitar: I guess I'll go with my friend Kirsten's opinion for this one. She plays both piano and guitar, and she told me that "piano is my academic instrument, and guitar is my fun one."

I don't know what you're really looking for in an instrument, but I'm sure that whatever you choose will be really awesome.

I chose Piano, and auditioned for it.
If it doesn't work, then I might try guitar

Now this is what I say. I was playing piano a couple years ago, for only two or three, then I stopped. I started again lately, but on my own, without a teacher, and it took me a bit, but I regained some talent. I could play hard songs probably, but I'd have to learn them.

I started guitar on my own and I was lost. I found out how to play the tab, but my fingers are so clumsy, and slow, I can barely do anything. If I had a teacher, he/she could maybe teach me the chords, and help me to get my hands right. Guitar is an instrument everyone loves, and if you can learn to play it well, you can go far. You can join a band, or become a singer/guitar player, or go play on the streets, and hope people will throw money at you. But with a piano, if you've already learned how, you should be able to pick up on your own, and you can't do as much with piano. Believe me, if I were you, I'd do guitar.
