The Dragon Emporium [Book 9] [ONE YEAR LATER]

Carlos was walking down the hall, hands stick in his black hoodie's pockets.

"Like that'll happen. SHe hates her brothers now" Scott sighed "And I think she hates me"

Julie continued to hug him. "Scotttieeeee," she cooed, "No she doesn't! Trust me, she doesn't!"

Drina was walking down the hall again, her head down. She had tear tracks down her face and was very clearly in a horribly foul mood. She sniffed sharply and rubbed at her eyes; what a horrid day it had been.

{I have like 16 year olds, and a 19 year old, don't think I have a 17 year old...}

"Hey Adrina!" Carlos said, clearly paying no mind to her foul weathered mood.

"How do you know?" He mumbled, hugging her back.

[Um... Snakey I have Holly [17] open. What about you?]

"Hey Adrina!" Carlos said, clearly paying no mind to her foul weathered mood.

"How do you know?" He mumbled, hugging her back.

Drina looked up at him, her eyes burning. She walked up to him and kicked him as hard as she could. "That's for lying to me," she said. Instead of screaming it like she wanted to, it came out a hiss from between her teeth. "I hate you!" She kicked him again and glared at him.

Julie smiled. "Some things I just know," she responded.

"OwwhhH!!!!" He yelped, droppng over on the floor "IS this all about a year ago?"

"Alright.." He said with a sigh, then smiled at his cousin.

[Yeah, that's okay. I was about to leave anyways... =)]

"Yes!" she shouted, glaring down at him. Tears poured down her cheeks and she let one tiny sob echo out of her throat. "You messed me up, you jerk! I knew you hated me, but you didn't need to go and do that!" She kicked him again and then just burst into a hysterical sob fit.


Julie beamed at him. "That's my Scottie!" she giggled.

After gaining himself back into complexure, he wince "I don't hate you Adrina..it was just a little joke.." he said, going towards her to give her a hug

"So how are things with Terry?" He asked, blinking

Julie began giggling and her whole face grew a bright red color. "None o' yo' beeswax," she responded.

Drina hit him. "It was the worst joke ever," she sobbed, her voice cracking all over the place. "You do too hate me! And so does Tommy and Terry!" She went back to hysterical sobs.

"Finnneee" He said with a laugh

"We do NOT hate you Adrina. We love you, but we also love annoying you. Its our job, we are your big brothers!" he said trying to calm her down. He didn't even know about Scott telling her he liked her.
