Fantasya - Part 3

(yup. XD. lolz. random rush on time.)
The witch grinned at Kortella. "Daddy, now eh?"
Teloren narrowed his eyes at her. "Yes, and?"
"Oh, nothing of course." her grin widened. She took a few steps towards Lazuri and Kortella.
Teloren spun around and stepped in defensively.
He was standing right above a sleeping Cepheus. He sheathed his knife and slowly reached to pick him up.
Larein entered the room, brushing some dirt off her shoulder. Her eyes widened when she saw the dead servant on the floor, then she looked towards the spy. "Hey!"
Curses. He turned around and unsheathed his knife again.

The witch laughed. "No need to worry, Teloren, I intend no harm." she let her finger outline Kortella's face. "Interesting.."
Teloren stood aside for a moment, but still watched closely.
"Hey, I thought you were dead!" the spy said, recognizing her.
Teloren's servant.. wow they're idiots. "Well, I'm clearly standing here in front of you, quite alive."
He unsheathed a second blade, longer than the first. "Well let's fix that then," he said, stepping closer to her.

((Imagine Larein and this dude fell in love.. that's be awkward. o.O XD))
Kortella turned over, to look at her. Not crying at all.

(i imagined him.. like.. so much older than she is.. XD)
"That's a girl." the witch said, lifting her chin to examine her face. "Very nice.. very interesting."
"What about her?"
Larein's eyes widened. Her hand searched eagerly for her knife. Crap.. She was defenseless.
"Don't you worry about it. It won't hurt one bit." he grinned evilly.
Larein looked around the room. There was a sword on the wall. She made a dash for it.

((It'd be SOOO awkward...))

Lazuri kept quiet, she simply watched.

"Do you mind if I hold her for a moment?"
"No, don't let her!"
"Honestly, what are you so worried about, Teloren?"
"You intend her harm."
"What do I have against her, what do I have against any of you, really?"
He spun around and just smirked.
Larein tried pulling the blade off the wall. She cursed. "Crap.. it's stuck!!"
The spy only laughed evilly.

"It's quite alright, I just wanted to hold her." she said, not smiling anymore.
"And why should we trust you?"
"Why don't you?"
Teloren went silent.
Larein kept tugging, losing hope.
The spy got closer until he finally was only a few paces away, he aimed the blade at her.
With her last effort, she pulled the blade off the wall, but broke it. She blocked the aim. "Oh, COME ON!"

Teloren glared at her.
"Would it be better if I just handed you all my weapons, I'll willingly do that." she took all of her knifes and poisons from her cloak and gently threw them to the floor. She rose her hands up.
"You still have magic."
"And how long has it been since I killed someone with magic, Teloren?"
Teloren looked down. "A while."
"Precisely, why would I start again now?"
The spy smirked. "Good luck, aier." he said darkly, aiming a blow for her legs.
Larein blocked it again and aimed it at his head. "Since when do you care?"

"Maybe you owe me. If it weren't for me, he wouldn't be here right now." she pointed towards Teloren. "And probably neither would she."
Teloren just watched them both now, remaining quiet.
His blade swooped upwards and clashed with hers, but hit Cepheus in the shoulder.
Larein looked towards the now crying Cepheus. "You'll pay for that!" she aimed for the spy's shoulder.

Teloren nodded curtly in approval, then cast a dark glare at the witch.
The witch laughed. "Teloren, may I speak to you for a moment?"
Teloren looked back towards Lazuri, then at the ambitious gaze the witch was giving them. "Very well." Whatever you do, if you hear her laugh evilly, run. he thought to Lazuri before following the witch right outside the room.
The blow barely grazed his shoulder, and the spy aimed both of his blades down on her.
Larein blocked them both in one move. She felt the sweat on her forehead. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.

That would be the most intelligent thing to do. He just kept his focus on the witch.
The witch smiled. "You know me too well, Teloren.."
"So you did intend harm to her."
"But it's like you know so little about me as well.."
Teloren cast her a confused glance. "What do you want from Kortella?"
"I want nothing from your daughter, Teloren. Nor do I intend her any harm."
"And yet, you always have a reason for something."
The spy kept fighting, aiming and blocking her blows.
Larein was breathing heavily as they circled each other around the room.
With one blow, he disarmed her.
Larein stood there, pale and she knew she was at the end of her fate.

Teloren abruptly turned his head at Kortella's cries.
The witch smirked. "Just go to her. You obviously do not trust me."
Teloren cast her a last suspicious glance and walked back into the room.
She followed in slowly behind him.
Teloren walked towards Kortella.
The spy stabbed the longer blade through her and held it there for a moment before pulling it out.
Larein just stood in shock. Blood poured from her mouth and she trembled as she gazed back up at the spy.

Teloren smiled at Kortella and grabbed a hold of her. "Yes, Kortella."
The witch simply watched.
The spy smirked and threw her to the ground by her shoulder. Then he turned around and made his way towards Cepheus.
Larein gasped in a few breaths as her blood spilled onto the floor. AS much as she wanted to stop him, she couldn't manage much further movement.

Teloren grinned.
The witch grinned darkly and snapped her fingers. Instantly she switched minds with Teloren.
It took him a moment to figure out what was going on, but was infuriated when he did.
"Thank you very much, Teloren. For taking my advice. Even though I would also love my own body back too.." she snapped her fingers again and she regained her true form, in the same position Teloren just was.
"You said you didn't intend her--"
"I wasn't lying about that, Teloren."
Teloren unsheathed his knife and pointed it at the witch.
The spy grabbed a hold of Cepheus once more.
Larein was still gasping on the floor. With one hand clutching her wound, the other reached and gripped her fallen blade.

"Farewell, Teloren. As rude as this may sound, I hope not to see you anytime soon." she snapped her fingers. With Kortella in her arms, she disappeared out of the kingdom.
"NO!" he aimed a blow, but it was too late. The only thing the knife struck was open air.
Larein lifted it with a last effort and threw it as best she could.
At an odd angle, the blade pierced through him. He no longer held Cepheus. He trembled and through gritted teeth muttered something before collapsing dead to the floor.
