Denolen stepped to take a closer look. "Your son, Amaria?"
Amaria pressed closer to Etohll. "Mine and Etohll's."
Denolen looked down at Cepheus, ambition gleaming in his eyes, and seemed to take a particular interest in him.

Amaria nodded curtly in acceptance, then smiled at him.
"Any of your past I haven't heard of?" he asked.

"Alright," he said, as he gently handed Cepheus to Denolen.
"Hmmm..." she thought a bit. "My mother wasn't a shapeshifting Shadow Creature, like me and my father. She was just a plain old Shadow Creature..."

Denolen gently grabbed a hold of Cepheus and fell silent for a moment. He examined him for a moment. At a sudden moment, he looked from Amaria, to Cepheus.
Teloren processed this in his mind for a moment. He thought of Kortella again. "Does Kortella have any power over shadow creatures at all?"

"I don't know," she admitted, sighing softly. "If we can get her back, then when she's old enough, were best testing it out. But considering she's an elf and all... I'm not too sure she'll have any power over Shadow Creatures. Would be quite weird.. but lots of weird things have been going on, in my family. My mother, giving birth to me ; A shapeshifting Shadow Creature... and me, giving birth to a simple elf,"

"I wonder if the witch knew. She seemed quite interested in her."
Amaria watched him, then noticed a pendant hanging off his neck with a strange symbol. The old symbol of Teloren's kingdom. "I thought you were going to sell that."

Etohll took the time to look at the pendant, examin it carefully.
She sighed softly. "I hope Kortella's going to be alright..." she whispered.
Kortella managed to wake up, crying out: "MAWMMY! DAWDDY!" once more.

Denolen looked down at the pendant then clutched it with one hand. "Something so precious? After you left, I decided differently." he said.
"I hope so too.." The witch was unpredictable to him. Whether the witch would really hurt her or not, he didn't know.
The witch looked down at Kortella. "Why do you want them so much, love?" she said, somewhat fiercely.

"Teloren... I'm gonna need some training.. so I can get used to using my arm, now that its like this. I'll need to get used to the pain,"
Kortella simply swatted her hands hard at the witch's face.

"What sort of training were you thinking?" he asked.
The witch grabbed a hold of one of her wrists. "You'll have to deal with it, Kortella."
"People will start believing that you've taken sides."
"True.." he shrugged. "But given by such an enchanting elf, I don't see why I should."
Amaria nodded, and looked down. Then she looked up and saw the moon falling. "I think it's time we parted."

He nodded in agreement.
"Any training you wish to give me. I'll need to get used to handling my blade with my arm. As well as controlling Shadow Creatures."
Kortella's crying got louder... and louder...

Teloren nodded his agreement. "I think she should start tomorrow though. You need rest."
The witch's temper was getting thinner. She snapped her fingers in intention of a muting spell.
Denolen bowed his head curtly. "As you wish. Farewell, my lovely Amaria." his eyes scanned the scenery before he turned behind him and disappeared into the shadows.
Amaria wished she had been able to say goodbye to Cepheus. She sighed and leaned onto Etohll.

He wrapped an arm around her. "Its gonna be alright..."
"See you tomorrow, then..."
Tears just streamed down her face, instead.

She embraced him, but didn't say anything in reply.
Teloren nodded curtly and smiled faintly.
"Why didn't I just do that before?" the witch asked herself. She looked both ways, then slipped silently into the night.

She woke up, her eyes opening as she looked upwards.

Teloren had kept a vigil. He looked out a window, lost in thought.
The witch finally decided she was far enough away that it was safe to stop for a little while.
Amaria had spent her night thinking, unable to sleep. Her thoughts buzzed in her head. When she finally cleared her head, she rose, making her final decision. She tried not to wake Etohll, then looked around for her cloak.

"Teloren..?" she called softly, hoping he was around, and heard.
Kortella slowly woke up.
"Going somewhere?" he asked, obviously awake, opening his eyes.

Teloren immediately snapped out of it, and walked towards Lazuri. "Yes?"
The witch smirked. "Now.. let's see what you really are.. but certainly you can't simply be an elf."
Amaria cursed herself in her mind and spun around. "I.." she wasn't able to say anymore.

Kortella looked up, and began crying once more.
"Aye, aye aye.." he sighed.
"Ready?" she asked, doing her best to go from laying down in the bed, to sitting on it, withought any help.

"Hush." she said. She placed two fingers on Kortella's forehead and closed her eyes to focus.
Amaria exhaled and looked down shamefully. Then she looked at him, smiling slightly. "No. I'm not."
