Teloren looked at Lazuri again. "I only have one solution. If this doesn't work, I don't know what will." He unsheathed his knife and held it horizontally in his palm.

Teloren ran a finger over the blade and closed his eyes in focus. His hand seemed to glow for a moment, then a cloaked figure appeared beside him. "Self explanatory."
"Why do you even try, Teloren?" the witch hissed. Then she chuckled darkly.
"You know why you're here."

Withought even taking a moment to think, she changed into her true form - not that beast form.

"True." she smirked.
"You must have the antidote." Teloren said. "I know you do."
"Why would I have your moronic antidote?"
"Why wouldn't you?"
"There's no point. I wouldn't change my mind about killing someone."

She swiftly pulled out her bow and an arrow, pointing it towards the witch. "You will pay for what you did to Kortella."

The witch rose her hands and closed her eyes with a smile. "Alright, alright. I can revive her, don't you worry about that." She made her way towards Kortella.
Teloren kept a close watch on her.

She kept it pointed towards the witch - just in case.

A white light illuminated in the witch's palm. She held it towards Kortella until she could easily be heard breathing again. "You are content?"
"Now back away."
The witch walked backwards several paces, then the light abruptly changed to a foggy black and she pushed it into Teloren's shoulder.
Teloren shouted in agony and fell, gripping his shoulder.
"I was only ever trying to help you, Teloren."

Withought thinking, she shot the arrow towards the witch, taking a few steps towards Kortella afterwards.

The witch halted the arrow only inches from her face. "You know what the purpose of that was."
"You're in alliance with the voice, I assume?"
The witch smirked. "You could say that."
Teloren shuddered for a moment. "I.. I'm not going to kill them."
"Well.." she laughed. "You're going to have to kill something soon, unless you want to die."

"Mmph." She grabbed a hold on Kortella, holding Kortella in her arms.

"Soft-hearted fool." she slapped him. "Get some sense, will you?"
"You won't dare leave me like this."
"Ah, but I will." She snapped her fingers. "Farewell."

Teloren shouted at the witch again and bent his head again. "Lazuri, this was exactly what I was trying to avoid.."

"Both that witch and.. Amaria, saw my death. It wasn't probable at first but, the possibility grew as time did." His hand reached the hilt of his knife. "If I ever had an heir, they would kill me."

Kortella opened her eyes, yawning softly. "Mawmmy..? Dawddy..?"

She didn't reply, holding on to Kortella tightly, and began running away.. out of the room.
