"I've got to do something about it!"
"Don't be so naive, boy!" he coughed and almost collapsed to the ground.
Cepheus grabbed a strong hold on Denolen's shoulders. "I will do something about it!" He felt a strong surge of power flow through him.
Denolen inhaled deeply and braced the force that Cepheus put on him. He didn't feel on the edge of death, nor was he weak anymore. The wounds were still there, but they were not bleeding anymore. "Cepheus.. what did you do?"
"D-d-did I do something bad? Did I hurt you?"
Denolen shook his head. "No... Cepheus.. did you mean to do this?"
Cepheus shook his head and trembled a little bit. "N-no. I was only thinking about saving you from death.."
Denolen rose to his feet slowly, not feeling any pain at all. "Well, I'll say one thing, boy. I'm greatly in debt to you."

Starting for next time..))

Elarinya walked through the forest near the Shadow Lands kingdom, her blade held tightly in her hand, her bow and arrows placed nicely, just ready for her to take them out. After moments of wandering near the kingdom, she decided to approach it, her gaze fixed on the large castle that layed before her very eyes. "The Shadow Lands castle," she whispered, gazing all the way in the sky. She crossed her arms, and turned her gaze back towards the castle - the doors to be exact. "Should I?" she wondered, reaching out, as if willing to open the doors and entering the castle. "No," she began, thinking for a few breif moments. "I'd get caught. And they would attempt to murder me." she concluded, then nodded.

Denolen watched the kingdom from the opposite side Elarinya was watching. He was deep in thought, his eyes focused into the distance.

She lifted her blade slightly, taking the time to examine it carefully. She sighed, lowering it, and gazing back at the castle.

Denolen slowly drew back to full consciousness. From a distance, he could see the figure of Elarinya. He cursed.
"What's the matter?" said a cloaked figure beside him.
"I have a dark feeling that we aren't the only ones with something against Teloren."
He gulped. "What does it look like?"
Denolen squinted. "It looks elf-like."

Denolen let silence pass for a moment. "Go figure out what it is."
"Why me?" he whispered.
"You are much better at making alliances than I am."
"Or my own mentor is just too scared to go himself."
"No." he said harshly. "Just go over. If they're here for the same reason we are, it will be better that we are all on the same side." He gave the apprentice a light shove in the right direction.
The figure gradually and quietly made his way over to the other side.

"Hm?" she swiftly turned towards the gentle sound of footsteps.

The apprentice slowed his pace gradually until he came to a full stop a few yards away, hidden by the undergrowth.

She quickly changed from her blade, to her bow and an arrow. "Seriously. Just come out. Dont worry. I probably won't likely shoot an arrow at your head."

The apprentice took his bow off his shoulder just in case and stepped out of the undergrowth. "You sure about that?" He kept his hood covering his eyes.

"Elarinya," she replied simply, putting away her bow and that one arrow. "And you?" she asked.

"Talantumbar. Fallen fate." he said, still cautious about taking his hood down.
Denolen watched intently. "Dear lord, I hope that kid didn't get killed. I'd be dead meat."

"To answer your question, I must ask you why you are here." Finally, he cast off his hood. His dark eyes were sort of cold.

He sighed. "My mentor sent me over here. He wanted me to bring you over to him, see what reasons you had for coming here." he swiveled around. "But if you're not here for any reason, I'll just head back."
