"Hm..." I said snapping out of my trance. "Sorry," I said smiling. "I guess I got lost in thought." I sighed, and started feeling uneasy. "I don't want to say this, but I have to," I said slightly annoyed. "I won't be mad if you protect me, but...you have to not get hurt. If you do, death will not be the scariest thing you have to face. You'll have to worry about confronting me!"

I looked at him straight in the eye. "I'll still protect you. I don't care if you're mad at me about it. I just care if you don't get seriously wounded."

"I know," I said nodding. "And you better be worried! You won't know what's happening!" I looked at her threateningly, but I couldn't keep it up. It came off as playing around. "If you get hurt, you'll have to deal with them...and me!"

I wrapped my arms tightly around her. I kissed her back. I began running my hand through her hair. I stopped kissing her, and began kissing her neck.

"It's dangerous, because it's a rescue," I said. "It's pleasant, because you're here with me." I got off of the tree, and took her hand. "Let's get going..." I turned to face her, and cupped her cheek with my hand. I kissed her and said, "I love you."

"I love you, too, Shika," I said, taking his hands, but not moving them from my face. "Let's go....rescue...my parents." It was weird saying that word, parents. Especially when we were talking about mine.

"I..." I went to argue, but I couldn't. I lookeddown and shook my head. "All of this is my fault," I said angry. I was disgusted at myself. "I shouldn't have left. If I wouldn't have, then none of this would've happened." I got out of bed and left the room. I slammed the door so hard, that it sounded like it was going to break.
