She'll live, I told myself as Lizzie finally made it out of the clearing. She has to.

She cried in pain again, as she noticed something wrong.. and deadly. A branch had been stabbed into her. She guessed she probably had it sink in when she landed. But still...

But where had it been stabbed in? Around her stomach. She slowly attempted to pull it out, easily giving up as it caused her to shout in pain a few times.

I let out a small groan.
"She'll be okay," Lizzie tried to comfort me.

I didn't answer, and after a long while we stumbled out of the forest.

Aerith finally reached Phillip. "Here. I'll bring her back. You go help your little girlfriend, there." she said, pointing towards the direction Phillip came from.

Where did she come from? I wondered vaguely, but I just said "Thanks," and turned to plunge back into the forest.

Aerith nodded. "Watch out. Jakey's still a wolf." she reminded him, before helping Lizzie towards the castle.
"Mehh.." she whispered weakly, opening her eyes moments later.
