Pugs' On-A-Cloud Blog for the 22 (please read!)

Besides the announcement I had to put up today, I'm SO happy.

This year, instead of people nominating others for student council representatives, we chose if we wanted to run and me and 3 others raised our hands. They're not exactly popular or smart (not saying I am either; in popularity, we're pretty equal). Then people voted. I voted for someone else, not knowing I could vote for me. xD I'm pathetic. Our homeroom teacher told us the two top candidates, me and some other guy (I couldn't believe it). I spent 30 minutes writing a speech (it had to be less than a minute long; we don't have much time). I really hope I win. That would be great.

In Spanish, we had to use colored pencils, and Jason took one of every color, but none were sharperened, so I took one of my 50 pencils that wasn't sharpered so I could talk to him. Here is our conversation:

Jason: Hey, Alex.
Me: Hey.
Jason: Sorry I have so many, but this is the last one, I promise.
Me: *laughs* That's fine.
Jason: *sings* Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. Okay, I'm done.
Me: Bye.

xD But that was the longest conversation we've had so far this year. I was happy.

Cody was my lab partner today, but you can tell how un-interested he is in me. xD Oh, well. I don't really care anymore.

The guy that's a year older than me that I saw at the fair looked at me today, because his friend was like, "No ____ graders coming through this door," and I'm like, "I'm a (year older) grader," and rolled my eyes and the guy that I might like laughed. He cut his hair, and grew. He looks nice.

My teacher wants me to be in Jazz Band. I don't because I know I'll get a solo (there are only a few trumpets in Jazz Band) and oddly enough, I don't want one. I'm afraid I'll mess it up. Whatever.

That's awesome that you got to talk to Jason! And I know what you mean about the solos. xD Like, I'm pretty sure I won't mess up, but I always try to not get solos in band because they really freak me out. While I've never had my own solo, sometimes I'd have to play it when the person above me was absent . . . *shudders* It's a horrible feeling. xP

I'm the only trumpet in my grade, so sometimes there are solis. xD Is that the word? I don't know.

Nice. xD Lawl, solis aren't so bad, cus at least the other trumpets are playing too.
