Two harvests and a vampire. Score. (Yes, I'm thrilled, 'cause new eggs are tempting and the vampires are some of my favorite dragons. Period.)
I also ended up having an egg tossed, and I think my dragons hate Twi now. Now he has to wait a month before I can try again. But Ech thinks eggs are tasty. >.<
(If you have no idea who I'm talking about, Ech and Twi are my vamps from last year. I had to try out the Bite feature.)

I made one.
I snagged a regular egg (a grey, to be precise) from the abandoned and had Echoes work some of her magic. Echoes, being a vampire dragon (and an old RP character of mine) could Bite the egg and did just that.

Unless they work like last year (which would mean now that I have it I can't get rid of it) I can give you that one. I have everything I want. (save for a male water-horse)
I can't make any more for another four weeks, 'cause I tried Ech and succeeded, then Twi and failed. (well, it said that he bit it and the others threw it out. So I assume it was made and abandoned)

I can snag 'em from the cave when other stuff shows up again, they're pretty common. Plus I could breed the one I have with a different dragon and hope for the best.
I'll be influencing the next one I get. That worked wonders with Tweela.

Harvest? Dunno. Vamps? Virtually forever, they have a way of "breeding," so to speak, now.
But they can only do it every four weeks. If I get more, I'll stagger their times for a steady stream of vampires infiltrating the cave. Heheheh.

Harvests will be easy to catch today. About the first 10 minutes of every hour.
Vamps, you've gotta be lucky to find one in the abandoned section and fast enough to get one.
