Welcoming Committee.

I was looking through the 'Hey, I'm new here' section and I've noticed pretty much the same people are always welcoming people, so I thought, what if we had another usergroup called the Welcoming Committee. I understand if you guys don't like the idea because there are already so many groups, just tell me what you think.

That's a cool idea, although, what exactly would be the purpose of this group? Because the reason we have the other groups are to give certain people special privileges, such as stickying their own topics in a section, that the other users aren't able to do. I don't really see what special privileges these guys would get, and without one there's not really a point to having a group, at least for me.
