Eagleflight was shocked for a bit, then meowed "Yes, of course." She's accepted you, your life together is starting!

I purred and licked her ear.

Eagleflight smiled and licked his muzzle.

I walked into the leaders den, sighing. Sometimes being leader of a Clan sucked. You couldn't sleep beside your mate, or with your friends.

Eagleflight curled up in the warriors den. She thought about Shrewstar and Foxkit.

I yawned and curled up on my bed of moss and fell asleep.

The next morning, Eagleflight streatched out and went to find Shrewstar.

I called all Clan members to the Highrock.
I heard and toddled over.

Eagleflight trotted over to the Highrock.

"I call Foxkit up to the Highrock."
I toddled up.
"Foxkit, from now on you will be known as Foxpaw. Your mentor will be Eagleflight."

Eagleflight padded over to Foxpaw with pride. Some other cats sneered.

"Silence!" I shouted. They quieted. "We accept all different cats in our Clan."

Some looked doubtful, but a few cats began cheering Foxpaw's name.

Eagleflight smiled and touched noses with Foxpaw.

A few other cats began to chant Foxpaw's names.
My smile widened, if possible.

Eagleflight beamed in pride for her young adopted daughter.

"That is all!" I called.
Foxpaw crept down of the Highrock. "Teach me, teach me!" She chirped to Eagleflight.

"Alright," Eagleflight laughed. "But first I need to show you our boundries and the territory."

"I already know them. Mother showed me all of them."

She nodded. "Alright. Let's move on to fighting skills then-the way we cats fight."

"Uhh....I don't think I can fight like cats tdo. I think I'll have to develop new skills, and use yours too."
