Nightpaw padded over to him.

"Ashfur, why am I doing hunting?"
"Because Shrewstar said so."

Nightpaw looked at her and smiled a bit smugly.

(Him.)

"Okay."

Nightpaw padded over to him, ready and eager.

Ashfur led them into the forest.

Nightpaw followed him.

(Remember, they can't hunt very well.)

He showed them how to preform a hunting crouch.

She did it, but noticed her rear was too far up.

Skypaw tried it, but his fee clomped on the ground and scared the prey away. "Oops."

"I think you did good," Nightpaw told him.

"Thanks. You did too."

Nightpaw smiled and tried again.

Skypaw tried once again, as well.

Nightpaw pounced and landed on a small mouse, killing it quickly.

"Good job." Ashfur noted. "But try to stay more on your toes than your pads."

Nightpaw nodded and smiled at him.

Skypaw swished his tail as he pounced onto a mouse. It began scurrying away so he killed it with a quick bite to the neck.

Nightpaw watched him, then sniffed. She smelled a rare treat-a rabbit. She began to stalk it. It looked up, frightened, and began to dash away. Nightpaw ran after it, then jumped and sank her teeth into it's neck. Unknown to her, she had crossed the boarder into BranchClan territory.

Treeroot and Goldenflower were patrolling the border.

Nightpaw looked up in fear, grabbed the rabbit, and ran off.

"She stole prey!" Treeroot snarled, jumping over the border.

Nightpaw squeaked, then stopped and dropped the rabbit by her feet and stepped forward and bristled.

Ashfur ran over, standing in front of Nightpaw. "Get over the border." He snarled.

Nightpaw looked at him. "I can't leave you-they'll tear you to pieces!"
