Orphanage Hopes

Selena smiled and walked into the store as soon as she saw the DC shoes she wanted she picked them up and tryed them on. They where black and had orange writing.

Aries looked at them. "Nice."

''You like them?Really?Or do you like those?''She said pointing to black converese that go up to the knee.

"Uh..." Aries said. "I like those," Cassidy said, pointing at really high red heels.

'''Hm I bet your daddy likes those.''Amber said putting on the red heels with a smirk.

Cassidy clapped her hands with exitement. Aries smiled and let out a whistle.

Selena rolled her eyes. Then she grabbed the write size and walked them up to the counter.

Aries and Cassidy followed. Cassidy gawked at all of the heels.

''You like heels don't you Cassidy.''Selena said carrying the back and in the other she grabbed Aries hand.

Cassidy nodded. "They're pretty." Cassidy had Aries's other hand.

Selena nodded.''They are aren't they.What other stores?''

Cassidy yawned loudly. "I think it;s someones naptime," Aries said, scooping Cassidy up in one arm.

"Sure." I said, and smiled with one side of my mouth.

Brook helped him with his stuff then took him to her smaller space which was closed in with walls. She put some of his stuff on the bed and then began taking pictures off of the wall.

Selena smiled and grabbed the bad that had Cassidy's dress in it. ''Where should we go back to the little hiding plcas thing?''

I walked into the room, carrying the sidetable my parents gave to me. I dropped it beside the bed and opened up one of the boxes that held my things. I took out a picture of my family and me, and one of Karen and me. I stuck the one of my family on the sidetable and the one of Karen and me back in the box. Instead I brought out a digital alarm clock and stuck in one the table, plugging it in. I glanced at the picture of my family, and hesitantly reached for it. I looked at myself, smiling and happy. Then my little sister, Holly. I sighed. She'd gone to live with her friends for some reason and Mother and Father let her. I looked at my older brother, who was in college. Then I looked at my parents, and waited for the etars. But they didn't come.

''I am sorry about your parents.''She said looking at the picture. She put the pictures of her and lucas into her small box. And put up a few new ones of her freinds who she had missed a lot. Brook looked down at her she hesitated puttng it in the box but finally did. She stood her gutair against the corner. She heard to girls gihhting outside her little dorm then locked the door.''Girl Drama'''Brook said before rolling her eyes.

I almost laughed. Almost. I took out an old poster of Batman that my brother had given to me and then I laughed. It was so weird, Batman was holding the Joker in that way where you hold your wife after the wedding, and Joker was smiling. I rolled up the poster and put it back in the box and took out the home-made poster collage thing of my sister and brother and me. I stuck it on the wall.

Brook smiled at the poster thing. She was upset to think about her sister and brother who where in the car with her mom and dad who all died. She happened to get grounded so she didn't go out to eat with them that night. Brook at the time wanted to be dead and wishe she was in the car but things where starting to change for her now. Brook never brought up her brother or sister. They never really got along since her brother hated Lucas and always got into fights. Her sister just did her own thing. Brook hated being the middle child but now that there both dead she realziied how much she missed them.

I touched the giant picture of Holly and my brother, Renzo, letting my fingers run down it. A tear rolled down my cheek and I wiped it off with a hand.

Brook hugged him...''Its okay.''She told him.

"It is now." I replied.

Brook smiled and kissed his lips.

My hand fell off the poster.

Brook broke the kiss and smiled. Brook put the box under the bed. She looked at her brother and sister and shook her head. She then looked back at him.
