Merry's Mass of Memories - October 22!!

Science stunk today. Sad

My teacher hates our science book and just reading out of the book and doing worksheets and almost everyday we do a lab but today was different. We had a substitute (a mean one at that) and our teacher had only assigned a worksheet for us to do on Energy and stuff but then our sub added 23 extra pages to read out of the stinkin' book! I didn't even read all of it. I read half of it and then got the worksheet, which wasn't even long (it was a page! 23 pages for one page??!!), and so I only read a paragraph when I needed it to answer a question. xD

Otherwise today was pretty good. Smile

In Social Studies we got a free period! It was amazing because that teacher is all about work! But my friends and I played Pictionary and my BFF and I were partners and I was guessing her drawing and she was drawing a wheelchair and I was like "Uhh.. a person? A cash register?". xD Haha! And then she drew the (stick) person on the wheel chair and I was like "Uhh... a snowboarder? A surfer?". Lol! But she was a pretty good guesser because I got Shirley Temple and I was like "She'll never guess that!" but I did it anyway. I just drew a stick figure with curly hair and a lollipop and she got it. xD

Tomorrow is a half day! Very Happy

Woot! And since we have like 3 drills (evacuation drill, lock down, and I think one more...) we are just going to bring blankets and pillows and read all day. Very Happy

I am going to bring Shadows of Inspiration! Yay! I love reading all of the poems over and over again and I love Just Friends. Smile

Evacuation Drills are hilarious. xD We have to walk to a park nearby the school and each grade pretty much walks in a giant line and we have to cross streets and stuff. It is SO funny to see the people in cars just staring at us with their mouths open while we march across the street in a pretty much never ending line. Lol! I really get enjoyment out of that. Very amusing...

Haha, the evacuation drill sounds funny. XD Oh man, last year (or maybe it was the year before) we had a lockdown drill and we all hid in the closet (except this one girl who claimed to be claustrophobic and hid under a table XD) and the guys kept playing with the light switch and one or two girls screamed like crazy every time it went on or off. It's like, come ON! rolleyes
