My View On The World
I want the world to be a happier place. I want it to be so you can go up to someone in a book store, and smile and say, "That book is fantastic, you should read it." Without someone thinking you're weird.
You should be able to do handstands on the top of the Empire State Building, or shake hands with the President, no questions asked. People judge each other way too much. We all need to relax. Life only comes around once. What are we going to do when we die? I feel like if we all enjoyed the smaller things, as well as the big accomplishments, life would be a lot happier.

Anyway, I'm an enormous Broadway fan. Like, really, I don't think that anyone on this site is a bigger fan than me. I've been to see four shows (Which really isn't that many...) Those four shows are: 42nd Street ; Wicked ; Phantom of the Opera ; Shrek The Musical
And I'll be going to see Hair later this summer.
I've been in quite a few shows. I'll have five more by the end of this year.

Okay, I just have to say something about this video. I really do have a personal connection to it. You notice how my profile is really happy? Well, this and another song, which will be posted on Friday, really have very personal connections. See, when I was in the fourth grade, I was depressed. Like, I really was. I had "depression" the desiese, or dissorder or whatever it is and however you spell it. I hated that. I learned to live with it, to pose smiles and things on myself, to make me seem happier, when really, I was depressed. When this song came out early last year, I felt almost uplifted, I felt like I was wasting all my time being so... depressed, and that I should move on. I love this song, I love it's meaning, and I love everything about it. Smile

More Info About My Writing Life

I hate when people say I'm a fantastic writer, because really I'm not. I don't have the patience or determination to go around and edit my work, and to be honest, I've never completed a full story. Even "The Princess of the Animals" Wasn't completed by me. It was completed by my friend Nicole... Well, we wrote it together, but still. I don't have the determination. And, quite honestly, I'm not all that good a writer anyway. Let's just face some straight up facts, I'm not that great at it.

However, I started writing when I was in Kindergarten. I wrote a song, and it was about me being afraid of the dark. I still have it, actually. It's hanging up on my wall, to remind me that creativity runs deep. After that, I didn't write an actual story until first or second grade, when we were required to write them for special projects that our teacher wanted us to do. I remember that one was about my dad, and that was the year before he left.

When I was in fifth grade, I wrote one of the deepest short short short stories ever. I think. It was called "Bye Dad" And it literally made my teacher cry. I wrote it for my Dad, to tell him that even though he was gone, I loved him. Also dedicated to my dad was the poem "Daughter's Stranger" Which was about all of the things that he had missed because he was gone.

Really though, my writing life didn't begin until I was in seventh grade, and I wrote "Myra and Jordan" Well, just about. It's not quite finished yet, but it's getting there.

I don't quite know where my writing life will take me next. I'd like to think that it will be somewhere into money at a young age, but after that, I don't think of "Author" when I think of a career later on in life. I guess I'll just have to keep writing, and wait, and see.
