Amethyst was a mere fourty yards in, wrestling with a vine that had grabbed her leg. The problem was she couldn't control it since it obviously wasn't a normal plant. Other trees were lashing at the vine, attempting to help her but...The voice carried and she did the only thing she could do; shut up.

"No," Harper whispered, gently handing Emma back to him. "Let me go, please. I won't be as easily injured as you, and if anything happened to you, Emma would be upset." With that, he was gone, running back through the forest the way he had came, desperately listening for the sound of Ame.

Luke continued calling, "Oh, sweet little Amethyst, come out, I won't hurt you..." He chuckled, "That bad..."

Emma was shivering. She didn't register what was going on; only that her blanket was now on the ground. "Noooo," she whimpered, reaching out, her gaze still blankly on the side. "Where'd it gooo?"

"OMIGOD HAI!" Jami screamed, landing on his knees in front of her out of nowhere.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" Hope screamed, kicking her foot out and nailing him right in the jaw, and lemme tell you, the tiny girl was strong

The triplets winched but Lauren had a sort of 'ha ha' look in her eyes. "What'd you say?" "Logan..." Cassie remained silent although.

Derrick held Emma and attempted to grab her blanket. "It's fine, Your brother'll be right back. He's just going to get someone." 'Let's just hope both come back in one piece...'

Amethyst pushed herself back into the trees, refusing to play this pointless cat and mouse game. She took in her surroundings... whatever way he came from she could snare him. He couldn't attack from behind due to foilage and the fact he'd get caught in the magical plant too.

"OWWW!" Jami wailed, falling back and clutching at his face. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" Actual tears sparkled in his eyes, but didn't leave them.

Tim stood a few feet away, doubled over, laughing hysterically.

Emma shivered violently, but nodded slightly, seeming to calm. "Okay Derrick," she whispered, relaxing, though still trembling.

Harper called out softly, "Amethyst?"

"Harper! SO you're back too?" Laughs echoed from nowhere yet everywhere.

"Where are you, Lucas?" Harper shouted. "Leave her alone!"

"So you'd rather go first? Is that what you're saying?"

Harper swallowed. "Yes!"

After a while, Evie got tired. And when I say tired, I mean tired. Finally, she was laying on the ground, almost out of breath. She wasn't sweating or anything, she was just breathing really deep. "Ah, you win."

Severus's eyes widened, "Um.... wow." He nodded nervously, twiddling his thumbs again, "So, um... that's why I was kinda overprotective of you..." He smiled sheepishly.

"Ohmyfreaking.." She whispered, sitting up with her hands over her mouth "I'm sooooo sorry!!" She was now leaning over him slightly, looking at him.

"I just asked him why he seemed so depressed.." Logan said, blinking lightly, still acting like nothing had happened lately.

Hope grinned and bent down like she was gona kiss it, but instead whispered "Nope" and slapped him, not hard, but on the mark. She leans back and waved at Tim slightly "Hi"

"Could it have something to do with the fact your brother was just killed?" a snarl edged Cassie's voice. "You're acting like nothing even happened."

Taylor smiled back, sort of a smile... "Thought it had something to do with the fact one we're friends and two that if I died Sirius might think you did it."

Jeremy laid a paw on her shoulder, completely relaxed, "Tag. You're it," he said in a teasing kind of way. "You alright?" An actual hand was on her shoulder now and he knelt down beside her.

Amethyst was pulling, gnawing and trying to pry the vine off of her foot. No, not two people; not happening again. She pulled with all of her force, trying to make it obvious she was right there.

(ORFL! LADY ANTEBELLUM!!)

Logan just shrugged "He's overreacting" He was meaning anything he said, he just didn't feel like showing his feelings. He wasn't good at it.

Luke ignored Ame and advanced on Harper. "Why?"

"Because she doesn't deserve to die."

"Why?" he snickered.

He inhaled deeply, "She shouldn't've even...she wasn't meant to..."

"Destiny has a way of surprising you, though, doesn't it?" He stood across from Harper in the clearing now.

Jami groaned, "That was just cruel!"

Tim plopped down next to his brother. "What up?"

"Overreacting?" Lizzie spoke up, landing a little shakily on her feet. "You're underreacting! Your brother is killed and you're acting as if it's nothing!"

It was silent on Ame's end... It was as if she'd given up with the vine and was leaving herself to die. She heard the words and wish she hadn't, why couldn't Harper have just stayed with Emma?

Harper stood there as Luke advanced, not making a move to defend himself. "Kill me, if you will," he said, his vocie even. "If it is my time to leave this world then I will. But don't you dare hurt Ame. Let her go back with Derrick and my sister, please."

Luke stood a few feet away, rubbing his chin. "I'll think about it..." he decided, lunging at Harper.

"LOOK. I'm just trying to be strong for Domi okay?" Really, he didn't care, and it wouldn't have helped any better if he was being strong for Domi, Domi wouldn't have cared.

Jami groaned, "That was just cruel!"

Tim plopped down next to his brother. "What up?"

As Luke lunged at Harper, something caught between the two of them. Most of Harper was out of reach because Ame had pretty much wrapped herself around him. She braced herself for the fangs or something, shutting her eyes as tight as she could.

"Well it's not helping Domi any," Lizzie shot back at him. "He wants someone he can talk to not someone who's going to turn the other cheek and act like it didn't happen."

Luke tackled the two to the ground, not realizing that Ame was there until he went to snap at Harper's jugular. His eyes went wide and his jaw closed early. "There you are!" he laughed, leaping to his feet and dragging them up with him.

"What are you doing?" Harper cried softly, trying to wiggle away from her, "Go, you idiot!" He looked at her desperately. "Please! I'm kind of trying to save your life here!"

"Well, yeah. It did have to do with the friends part. But not the Sirius part." Severus chuckled quietly, brushing a few strands of hair away from her face. One thing to note about him, was that his hands were as cold as ice.

Evie took in another deep breath, nodding quickly, "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." She replied, almost breathless. After a few moments, she composed herself once more, so that she didn't look like she was dying from an asthma attack. She smiled at him, and lightly poked his arm, "Taaaag, you're it." She grinned.
