Swine Flu Vaccine?

I'm going to be getting the H1N1 shot today. Well, I got it. And I'm fine. So, I guess I'm interested about you guys. Have you got it? Are you getting it? Are you not getting it? Or have you already gotten swine flu?
Three of our family friends weren't at school today, all of them had a fever. Plus, I want to get it as soon as possible. I haven't missed a day of school since 2nd grade and I hope to keep it that way.

I don't think we're getting the H1N1 vaccine shipped to my province until around December. I don't think I would get it anyway, though... Because apparently there's something in the vaccine that isn't good for your mental health, and I'm fairly sure I've already had it. XP

I think I've gotten, at most, 2 shots in my life. My mother believes their unhealthy.

I've already gotten the swine flu.

As a Catholic, my mom doesn't believe in vaccines. Her expression was basically, "God made us perfect the way we are - so therefore it's only harming yourself to inject disease in your body to help the process that already works just fine." (Un-basically, it was about an hour long. xP You don't wanna go through it.)

So I don't really have a choice in the matter, but I'm fine with that. xD I take enough shots from my diabetes as it is.

She feels even more strongly about the swine flu vaccine, though, because supposedly swine flu is a fraud; like, the government created it (some theories say it's a real disease they created, others say it's just not real at all) just to scare people into taking the vaccines, and they'll eventually force everyone to take them . . . because - again, supposedly - the vaccines are a method of population control; all the weak people are gonna die from taking it or something. xD

I think I already had it, so no use. Plus, my mom says they probably have side affects. xD

Okee dokee. I got the shot and I don't feel dead. xD
But ours here in Austria (they're different from America. You have to go twice, once in three weeks after the first time) have been, like, /approved/ to have no side effects.
I'm not going to believe that the Swine Flu is a fraud, because it's very real, but... yeah. I'm just going to not put my two cents in here.

Lol, personally I just like to say it doesn't exist cus it's the whole thing about having a positive perspective. And I'm assuming it works, cus I haven't got it yet . . .

Lol, well, anyway. xD Whatever you guys think about this is fine; I'm not gonna shun ya or anything for thinking something different. What I just said in this post is what I believe, really. Everything else was what my mom believes.

I don't want to get the shots. I just don't think they're necessary.

My mom is so happy that our school is getting it, so I'm going to get it, while every one of my friend's parents is really against it. xP

I had swine flu already and was in the hospital for a week. I had a green tint to my skin and my eyes where red. I was throwing up craxy with a 104 fever. They gave me shots but I am exactly sure what they where. They had to close my school and get all the germs out.

I'm probably gonna get it... Kaiser gave H1N1 and regular flu shots to everyone in the school who had a Kaiser card, but since we don't have one, I'm not sure where or when I'm gonna get it.

I think the vaccine seems unhealthy..
I've read about it, but I may be getting false information.
Also, I think the swine flu is similar to the normal flu.. If you don't treat it, it could get worse or you could possibly die, which isn't exactly a nice thought, but I think if you just take medication and rest; you'll feel better.
I've heard around 30,000-40,000 normal flu deaths are made a year and I haven't seen the news talking about that often, but they do talk about the swine flu often. I mean, swine flu must've been on earth for awhile, but now it's hitting us, but everybody knows how to treat it... I just think were scaring ourselves half to death over the swine flu, when we don't need to.

I hope I'm not getting off-topic and I hope I don't sound crazy and too opiniated, but there are my thoughts...

Also, I may just be thinking this way because of my parents, I'm Catholic as well and I didn't know vaccinations had anything to do with religious ways, but I guess they do. My whole family is Catholic, so I may just be thinking how they're thinking and I'm completely wrong.

I haven't gotten the shot, but I don't think we'll need it anymore. It's kinda already swept through my school. The high point of sickness is over. I've never had a flu shot in my life and I didn't get sick. *shrugs* Oh well. XD

We are trying to get our shots, and are hopefully sheduled for getting our Swine Flu shots tomorrow, but they could always mess us up again.

I got the swine flu mist about a week and a half ago...I was really excited about it, because I'm a huge germaphobe and I was freaking out like crazy.
It didn't really circulate around much amongst my friends, because they or their siblings all got it over the summer from sleep-away camp. Practically all of the younger kids came down with it though. It was so bad that there were only four girls and I think three boys that didn't get it.

Doesn't it hurt? Like murder? xDD

What? No, not our shot. Could hardly feel it. Which was weird, because shots usually hurt like murder.

I heard it hurts. I didn't want to get one.
I also heard a girl got dostonia 10 days after getting the vaccine. O.o

I got it, like, 16 days ago.
And guess what?
I'm still alive and well.
