Under the Oak tree

The sun beats down
On their happy faces
As they walk to the park
Where they spent their childhood together

They've just turned sixteen
Two days apart
The girl doesn't know it
But the boy wants to give her his heart.

He walks to her house, two nights later
The moon shines down his path
He reaches his destination
Only to find in his presence
The figures of two.

They touch, they kiss
Her eyes closed, she doesn't see him
He runs in the dark
Back to that park

He reaches that tree
Where they stood just the other day.
A raise of his hand, and he drops to the ground
His heart slowly tuning out

Eyes dulled, his last words escape his lips
His beating stops, breathing ceases.

He lies under the oak tree
Where they grew up together


Its kinda long..but I just had the idea and BAM had to right it down.
