The General's Journal for November 21-23

I've recieved info that I should be keeping my feelings for particular girls on the 'downlow'. Well, I will, if I must. Life will be dull, but I will do what I must. Can't betray her trust. Do what I must. . .

Sorry, I got mixed up in songrwriting mode for a bit there. Well, on Saturday, Kayliegh came over for a while, like I'd planned, and we did a bit of band practice. We decided that we'll do another in two weeks. By then, NaNo will be over, and I can dedicate my free time to editing.

Well the point of that last sentence was to give you a feel of the timeline. I'm writing to you all at eleven something, 'cause I'm staying up late to write, but I need a little bit of inspiration, my MMC is falling into a pit of lava or something, and I'm not sure what should happen. Should it be just a vision? Should he fall onto a rock floating in the lava, and try to float about? Or is there some other way?

'Cause when he gets out, I get to add in this hyper elf based on a girl I know. So I want him to escape. Maybe Ian Wroon (A wizard) will save him again. I'm not sure, though.

On Saturday night, Kayliegh, Shad', and I saw New Moon. During the previews, I pulled up the armrest/cupholder between me and Kayliegh, and after a time, she pulled it back down. Burned! As Shad' would say. Sheesh. Our mom said that there were jokes in the movie, but the funny ones were the ones I cracked to Kayliegh. I just hope I wasn't getting annoying, I don't wanna kill her movie experience. *Bites lip*

Do guys get scared of their crush's fathers? 'Cause I think I am. I just have this fear of the two men that recieve half the credit for creating one of my world's angels. Um, yeah. . . heh heh heh. . .

Enough with this. Annyone think I'm ripping off Minas Tirith from LotR, by making a capital city built into a mountain? I mean, it's a small mountain, and the whole city covers it, not just a little bit of it, and the shape of the city is different, but I mean, c'mon!

So, on Sunday, Church was fun, 'cause the 'contemporary' band was there. But the drummer was weird, he kept seeming like he was messing up in some songs, and then just going to a bongo thing. I don't get it! But they played (Hey, it's playing right now on iTunes!) He Reigns, by Newsboys, Kaylea's fave band. So I got that song, but I don't like how it has a weird obnoxious-type quire (Or however you spell it. I care not.) in the background, and those things creep me a little.

And I also got "The Change" and "Dive" by Steven Curtis Chapman, and "An End Has a Start" by Editors, who made the song "No Sound But the Wind" in New Moon. It played when

And yesterday, I also broke 40,000 in my Nano novel! Woohoo! Let's celebrate! Just listen to the last 1:04 of He Reigns. It's a big bunch of "Hallelujahs", "Glory, glorys", and other random shouting mixed in there. What a bunch of crazy religious people. Like me!

So, wish me luck in the last (technically) week of NaNoWriMo, and I'll see you whenever else.

Oooh, maybe I should direct a particular girl to this thread.

I have an idea. How about he dies in the lava and comes back as a zombie. Then tries to eat the elf girl, and she's all like flattered that he'd think her to be so tasty, so she turns him back to normal with her elf powers and they get married.

I'm far too tired to read the rest of your blog but I just felt like throwing in that suggestion.

Well, that would be very interesting, but I decided already to change the lava. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.
