Post Limit for Threads

For now, we're removing the post limit. This is temporary, but indefinite.

Originally, we had the rule to keep from slowing things down on the site. But because it's always been in place, we don't really know for sure if it's going to slow things down after all . . . so until we know for sure, we're removing it.

You may still make new parts of your threads if you wish, once they reach 100 pages. But this is no longer a requirement.

If you do experience any lags, especially when viewing larger threads, please do PM me or one of the mods to let us know. Because if it starts to become a problem, we will put this rule back in place. And that's about it!

Me too. xD I kinda like it without a limit now, lol. Even though I haven't even had a chance to do anything about it on my threads.

I actually think I started getting lag before this was implemented, quite honestly. >.< The site's been loading really slow for me for the past four to seven days. It could just be my laptop acting stupid...
Anyways, seems like a nice update. 'Can't say I've participated in any threads that get that far, but nice nonetheless.

Really, Kiri? It loads great for me... Two seconds at the most. But it's been snowing here for a bit, so the electricity has been funny...

Until a few days ago, the whole page loaded within a split second of my opening TWIG in my browser. Now it takes almost an entire minute, if not more, for everything to show up. (And this can lead to a really screwed up page, 'cause I get a bunch of extra text where the images should be for about half the pictures.)

And I don't think it'd be the weather here, because the first time it snowed was, well, today.

Eep . . . that's not good. o.0 Do you have any clue how many people were on at those moments? Because maybe the site got overloaded or something, even though there's never been a ton of people on at the same time compared to places like WI . . .

Not sure, but it was like that whenever I got on, not just busy hours.
Since it sounds like it's just my problem with the lag, I'll just assume it's my computer telling me "get off the internet!"
It's a lot better today, though.

Hmm . . . that's good. I can't really say anything about why that's happening . . . but if it gets worse for you, especially on longer threads, let one of us mods know.
