The Book Club

We know that a lot of people on this site love to write, and but this club is for people who love to read. We know the Book section has been mighty popular, I just figured it would be nice to have a club.

Rules and Regulation
1. Please don't discriminate against others' taste in books. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
2. Follow all site rules.
3. Try to stay on the topic of books.
4. Good grammar and spelling is appreciated; we are a writing website.
5. Have fun.

I know the feeling. Razz It sucks when great books end, especially if they don't have a sequel.

Lol, nice, Noah. xD

I need help on which book to read!

The Fire Within - When David moves in with Elizabeth Pennykettle and her eleven-year-old daughter, Lucy, he discovers a collection of clay dragons that come to life. David's own special dragon inspires him to write a story, which reveals the secrets behind a mystery. In order to solve the mystery and save his dragon, David must master the magic of the fire within --- not only with his hands but also with his heart

All the Lovely Bad Ones - Travis and his sister, Corey, can't resist a good trick. When they learn that their grandmother's quiet Vermont inn, where they're spending the summer, has a history of ghost sightings, they decide to do a litte "haunting" on their own. But their supernatural pranks awaken something dangerous, something that should have stayed asleep. Only Travis and Corey can lay to rest the spireful spirits they've stirred. This means discovering the secret of Fox Hill and the horros visted on its inhabitants years before

The City of Ashes - Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But whats normal when you're a demon slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and faeries? Clary would love to spend more time with her best freind, Simon. But the Shadowhunters won't let her go- especially her handsome, infuriating new found brother, Jace. And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably inside, certantly evil, and also her father. When the second of the Mortal Instruments is stolen, the terrifying Inquistor suspects Jace. Could Jace really be willing to betray everything he believes to help their father?

City of Ashes is the second to the Mortal Instruments series.

Noah, I've read All the Lovely Bad Ones. I didn't honestly find it that good but we read it in school which could have swayed my rating. Razz Some of my classmates liked it, but I've never heard of the other two books.

Noah - The City of Ashes sounds like the best out of those! Very Happy The only I read was The Fire Within, though . . . it was good, but coulda been better. nod

I finally read a book. xD Last night I had nothing better to do, cus Dad was trying to make me watch Bones with him, so I sat in front of the TV with the first Ravenpaw manga for Warriors. It's so annoying; all the mangas have cliffhanger endings!! xD
