The Twilight Saga; Chapter 3; Something Is Stirring

"Um... what? Is this a joke?" I asked. [You're gonna hafta play Alec at that time, 'cuz he has to use his power... ]
"How hard did you fall?" I asked.

"We must decide, soon. She is completly human now; it should be easy."

"No." Jane replied, using her power on Amanda.
But Wormeh magically willed Alec to block her power! [xD]

I would have blushed, but thankfully, I did not. I smiled weakly, "I didn't fall." I replied, and couldn't help but smile. "I think it's true."

"Then you should go, Elaine; since you're so... eager."

[xD]
Blackness.[So elite. xD]
"Then how'd you get here? There's no door."

"Fine." She agreed. "I'll wait until Jasper is preoccupied with sometihng other than the stupid girl."

"They threw me in, yes; but I managed to land on my feet." I explained.

William nodded, and then went off to plot. [xD]

[Same. xD]

[Um... I g2g to bed, but I'll do the Elaine-snatch scene later. ]

Elaine waits until the house in pin-silent, and all the vampires are preoccupied. She silently comes up to the window, peering in. Jasper is in the kitchen, making something- for Amanda, presumably. Alyssa is upstairs, talking with Emerald quietly. Lily is playing with Hailey downstairs. Everything is silent- until now.

Elaine slowly slides the window open, grateful it doesn't creak. She lands like a cat in the living room as everything remains how it is, and she stealths towards the sleeping Amanda. The young girl rolls over, her hair now covering her face. Quickly, before anyone notices, Elaine grabs the girl.

She shrieks at the cold touch, and Jasper's head instantly moves towards her scream. But Elaine is already gone into the forest, her hand muffling Amanda's scream.
When she reaches the rest of her small group, she tosses Amanda into a cage, locking the door quickly. "Have fun, little girl." She taunts, flexing her eyebrows. Tears roll down her cheeks. "What did I do?" The girl asks, looking innocent. "You associated with them." Elaine laughs, and leaves.


I hear Amanda's scream from the room, and my head whips towards the couch. I see a flash of blond hair, Amanda's blond hair, and then it's gone.

I shiver in the little cage, still wondering why I am here. "Who are you?" I hear a girl ask. "A-Amanda Noelle." I whisper, my voice rough with thirst. "I am Elizabeth, and this is Cecilia." I detect warmth in the voice. "So... you upset them as well?" A similar voice asks. "Yes." I answer, still shivering. "Same with all of us."

"You big, fat, ugly meanie head!" Came Sookie's innocent little voice. But of course, there was that little angry-- almost irritated -- and, of course, defiance, in her voice. The tiny werewolf girl appeared from the shadows.

[No reply on "Oh my gosh, Amanda's gone?!" I'm so memorable. xD]

I wanted to laugh, but it came out as a cough. "Miss Amanda, you may use my jacket, if you wish. I have no use for it." One of the twins handed me a princess-y looking light jacket, and I draped it over my shoulders. "Thanks."

And then all of my characters began to freak out randomly! [xD]

Sookie sat beside them, wrapped her arms around her skinny legs, and resting her chin on her knees. She was muttering stuff as she rocked back and forth. She shut her eyes tightly, listening in on people's thoughts. "Cover your ears..."

[xD, maybe I should start. LOL]
"Um... Leach? Have you seen Amanda? 'Cause I'm almost positive that she dissappeared last night..."

"Um... okay?" I obeyed, putting my hands to my ears, wondering why.

Hailey, having been the first to notice, slowly began to get what had occured, too. The house fell eerily silent, and Leach's eyes widened, and he looked to the stairs that led to where Hailey was. Finally, her eyes faded completely black, she closed her eyes tightly, and screamed.
But the scream was ear-splitting, a vase downstairs even broke from the force.

Hailey's scream echoed up until it reached them, hitting them with just enough force.

I naturally clamped my hands over my ears, and then ran over to Hailey. "Hailey, Hailey, sweetheart, screaming will do no good." I said calmly into her ear. "Shhhh."

But I could hear nothing. [xD]

Hailey, too, had her hands clamped over her ears. A few blood-like tears trickled down her face, her eyes still closed tight. Her screaming died off into a whimper.

Sookie waited a few seconds, and then removed her hands.

I lifted Hailey into my arms gently. "Shhh, sweetheart. Shhh. No screaming." I kissed her forehead. "Sweetie, Mommy's going to be okay. We're gonna find her, alright, baby?" I stroked her hair calmly, keeping my expression even and level.

I declamped my ears slowly, and sighed. "Um..."

Hailey was shivering, not from the cold of Jasper, but from fear. "O-Okay." She whispered, her black eyes fading back into their emerald green color. "I-I'm scared for m-mommy." She whispered.

"She's done." Sookie whispered.

"It's going to be okay. Mommy's fine, sweetheart. You don't need to be scared." I kissed her forehead. "Go play with Lily, okay sweetie?" Lily wobbled up the stairs. "Hailey!" She giggled and grabbed the girl's hand, nearly dragging her downstairs. I chuckled despite myself. "Have you?" I repeated quietly.

"Um... okay."

Hailey relaxed a little, and she smiled weakly, catching her pace quickly so she wouldn't be dragged down the stairs along with Lily.
"We haven't found her." Leach replied, "We think Elaine's got her. I can smell her scent here..."

"We're going to get her back." Leach assured him, nodding. "Or die trying, if it is possible." He added.

"You remember that, don't you?" Leach asked him silently, his expression unreadable. However, one of his eyebrows was raised curiously.

The corners of Leach's mouth turned up into a small smile. He nodded once, "You're welcome." He chuckled a little, "I guess I was the first to fight back, and Gwen was the one that actually managed to escape the newborn executions."
