What Miafire likes and dislikes

I like SOOO many things about ShadowForum....but...

I dislikethe fast of the codes and stuff....color...sized..etc...the way they lay it out while your editing....its not like WI.
I ALSO dislike the way that not many members reply to threads and such....that not many users are on...and well..stuff like that.

You know you can change the code thing. Go to "preview" and click the a/A button. Make sure it's red...and you're mostly good, except for size.

I'm glad you're brave enough to say what you don't like. *nods* I'm afraid there isn't really much I can do about the codes; Forumotion is really customizable compared to Webs, but nowhere near as customizable as vBulletin. XD

And as for things being slow here, well, it's a new site! XD I think it's really good for having just started out.

But we have sooo many members here... Over 40 probably...

Whoa. XD Well, this still isn't WI. WI only has so many people logged on at once because it has over 100,000 members. And it usually has only one member logged on out of every one hundred.

We should figure out a way to get more members *brainstorms*

I think we should do advertisements on WI or our own websites. For example, I have an account on RPC, my website, and my other friends. I can try to get people from RPC over here.

Some peeps got in trouble for advertising on WI.

Hmmmmmmm... Well, if we do it subtly, like by having a link in our signature, or making a picture that says "The Writers Guild" Then it could go to here instead of the one on there by "accident" so we'd get more people.

We are allowed to advertise in our siggies; like I think it's okay to have the link here in your siggies. I haven't had any problems from that yet, and I even have it labeled as "The Writer's Guild, my site". But other than that, you aren't allowed to post links to other sites.

By all means though, do tell your friends in RL and on sites besides WI, if the sites don't prohibit it. The more the merrier!

Well, I'm not sure if it's really not posting links at all. But for "legal reasons" (never had the courage to ask what legal reasons specifically XD), we're not allowed to post links to "roleplay sites". And while this is a writing site, I guess it applies cus it has RPs on it. XD

I'm not in a big rush to have lots of new people join, then some people we don't know will join and it won't just be a circle of friends. A lot will change, but sometimes, change is for the better. =)

That well...erm... sucks.

Oh,another bad reason to link here is the way we let the boyfriend girlfriends happen..the romance...etc... WI mods and admins wouldn't allow it because I can imagine a like 7 year old browing this form.

Yeah. Like if someone joins every week or so at least, that'd be cool, and it wouldn't get too overloaded with strangers and stuff, cus that'll give people a chance to become part of our "circle." XD

Lol, yeah. That's why I made sure that, when I talked about it over on WI, that I said it'd kinda be focused more towards teens. XD
