Abriele was somewhere nearby, in the band room. Se stayed there from fourth to fifth period, practicing her violin. It was like a study hall to her. Adele, on the other hand, remained in her usual classes.

She was sitting in a silver stool, legs crossed. She had already memorized her piece, so her music book remained closed. She held the violin in the correct position, and then began to play.

She wore a pair of black skinny jeans, neon green Vans, a black tank top, with a hot pink tank top under it.

Lisi skidded into gym class just on time. She kept her eyes down hoping that no one would comment on her being late. She hated having attention directed towards her, good or bad.

"Way to be late, Lisi." Adele whispered to Lisi when she noticed she had came in late. She had that same Australian accent that always marked her voice when she talked. Adele knew everyone in gym class, even though some didn't know her. She cracked a smile, and quickly made her way to her seat at the benches.

Lisi blushed, but because of her rosy, peach colored skin it was hard to tell. She opened her mouth to make a comeback but by then Adele was gone. Lisi sat on her bench and waited for the instructions for todays gym lesson to be given.

Adele held back a grin, running her fingers through her hair absentmindedly, bored. She waited for the Gym coach to give them instructions for the lesson.

"Aussie!" She heard her nickname being called by the coach, "where's your sister?" Asked the coach, blowing her whistle in order to get Adele's attention.

Adele jumped, and looked up. "Violin practice." she called back, her voice tinted with its usual Australian accent.

And with that, the coach began to explain about what lesson they were doing that day; dodgeball. Because it was rainy outside, they would have to play in the gym.

Lisi sighed as she stood up, prepared to pretend to be bad at dodge ball. Being a vampire had it's lows. Coach barked at her to move faster so she barely picked up her pace and was at her side in no time. She could hear the coach's whistle blow as nerf balls began to fly.

Adele dodged a few nerf balls, and made her way to stand beside Lisi. The girl had the familiar scent that any vampire did, so she greeted her by saying, "Hello, my name's Adele." She cracked a smile.

Lisi stiffened, this girl was one of her kind. A vampire. "Do you have a clan around here?" Lisi asked icily, she wondered if the girl was a vegetarion like hereself and the Cullens. If not, this Adele girl would have to go, she could blow everything for both Lisi and the Cullens if she killed some humans around Forks!

Adele raised an eyebrow at this Lisi girl, her golden eyes showing nothing but curiosity. "A clan? I guess, I like to think of them as family." She replied, all the while, dodging blue and yellow Nerf balls. She took her index finger, placed it on the skin under her eye, and pulled down, showing Lisi that her eyes were a normal gold color, "I'm a vegetarian."

Lisi felt herself relax. "Well you would know why I asked then," she replied briskly batting a few nerf balls effortlessly out of the way. "So how many people are in this- family, of yours?" Lisi hoped her tone wasn't bitter but how she would have loved to have a family herself. The Cullens were the closet thing she had and she didn't even see them that often.

Adele smiled in an almost mysterious way, ducking when a ball was aimed right at her face. She picked it up, and threw it back, and then replied to her question, "Four, including me. My foster parents, and my blood-related twin sister, Abriele. She comes to school here." Another ball was aimed at her, and she caught it in mid-air, gently throwing it back.

"Hmm," Lisi pretended to occupy herself throwing and catching the foamy balls but suddenly she felt something hard with tons of force come in contact with her. She felt herself fall to the ground and then black out. Her last thought before everything went black was 'this isn't possible, I'm a vampire, untouchable.'

Adele gasped, a hand flying to her mouth. What had just happened in the past five seconds? She wondered to herself, telling coach that she was going to take Lisi to the nurse, even though she knew that the nurse wouldn't be able to help her. She picked Lisi up, and headed for the outside.

I opened my eyes, I was running- no someone was carrying me!! It was Adele- then I remembered what had happened in gym but I had no idea what had caused it. "This could be bad" I said outloud.

Adele set the girl down, "Crikey, woman! What happened back there?" She asked her, her eyes large with worry and curiosity as she sat down in front of her. "You blacked out and just... Do you know what happened?"

N-N-Noo gasped Lisi sitting up. All her energy seemed to be drained. "I don't know what happened but I can't let it happen again," the shy girl suddenly seemed fierce. "I can't make myself so, so, weak," she gazed into Adele's eyes, that were much like hers. "Thank you though,"
