Katie snorted and shook her head, "I think his Talent would come in handy therefore."

Lizzie didn't look at Tav but at the floor. She nodded her head and sighed heavily, "The impact to whatever you hit was very hard and near fatal but you survived by a miracle."

(Awhh...MAKE HIM MAD! GRRR! I want Noble to get beat up *wimpers*)

"She talks about you alot to" Noble said simply, not moving from his position beside Emma.

"Oh" Tav said, just starring at the blanket that covered his now usless legs "That sucks.." he sighed, sinking down into the bed.

Emma shifted slightly and smiled and nodded. Was she the only one who was nervous? Pain again started radiating from her back and she sighed silently, slipping her arms beneath her blanket so she can rub her back inconspiculously.

"I no get anything!" Julie babbled, 'I found out my sissy likes you!" She grinned widely.

Liz snorted, "Doubt it...." she mumbled in a sing songy tone. "Greg's something else...really..."

David started laughing and rolled his eyes, "Not funny, Jules. Your cousins tell you to say that?"

"So is David though," Liz pointed out in a calm tone. "Believe me, dated him for awhile. Not my type though."

Derrick nodded his head and looked around awkwardly. Course he wasn't jealous but... well, little complicated to state. He was positive that Emma was looking into other options. How long was a vampire werewolf relationship supposed to last?

In his head Noble said Do I need to work some magic again? He hoped she could hear it.

Emma shook her head but seconds later was arching her back and crying out suddenly, her eyes squeezing shut. It did this sometimes, hurt incredibly badly. It almost always ebbed, but this felt different. It felt lasting. Harper had told her once, she remembered, that because of the type of vampire the two of them were, they might feel Catching Up. A Catching Up is sort of their vampire type way of aging slightly every several hundred years. They'd experience all the pain they'd missed out on since the last time.

Julie shook her head. "Nopers, sir! Lizzie and Katie were talking and Lizzie made this face," Julie **ed again, "and she said she did like you so believe me already!"

Liz raised an eyebrow, "What'dya mean?"

"Emma?" Noble asked, looking at her with a great look of worry. he wasn't sure what to do...

Derrick rushed over to Emma. Course he had absolutely no idea what on earth that was going on with her but he didn't expect to. She was different like that... Sometimes that was good or bad. This time was bad. "Emma? What--" he knew it was her back but what about her back was wrong?

David raised an eyebrow, "Um...?"

Katie looked at her and shrugged, "He's pretty crafty. Or did you mean the other?"

Julie's happy expression fell. "You don't like sissy? Katie lied?" she asked quietly, a guilty look coming over her little, slightly chubby and very sweet features. "Oh. Okay. I'll go tell sissy that. If she cries I don't like you anymores." She stood up as if to leave...

Liz blushed and shrugged, mumbling something like, "I dunno..."

Emma was gasping. "I don't know," she wheezed, "It hurts really ba--a-ad, God," She sqeezed her eyes shut as tight as she could. "I don't know what I did. Maybe I moved the wrong way...Ah..." She whimpered.

Noble didn't know what to do, but he just kept her hand in his own, hoping Derrick didn't get mad or anything for that. He had a slight pain in his face that was increasing..something that happened uncontrolably sometimes. A hole would break in his power, and he'd absorb feelings around him..

"No, no, no!" David was up on his feet holding the little girl from walking away. "I-I do like your sister... Well, you're serious? Like this isn't something to make me look stupid?"

Katie nodded her head and sighed, "He's not like evil or anything. We just didn't click. We agreed to be friends just not anything more."

Derrick felt so bad, he wished there was something that he could do but obviously there wasn't anything. He looked to Noble, "Any ideas?"
