Blackheart ventured quite a few steps closer. He was pleased to see mischief and courage begin to wipe out the girl's fear. It meant he'd more likely get to give an extra dose of death.

"Correct," he said. Now he was close enough to touch her if he wanted to. Just to show what he was up to, Blackheart reached out with his finger and incinerated a corner of her pinstripe suit. His hand returned to his side. "And I'm still deciding."

"Don't waste your--!"

"SHUT IT!"

"Killing one smaller than you, Blackie?" Came Mugsie's voice from behind him. She grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, and pulled his head back so he could see her from an upside-down position. "That just shows how brave you are, no?" She grinned, released him, and darted off again.

Mugsie shook the burning feeling off. She kept herself humble, for who said she was going to make it out alive? Certainly she did not know what her future had in store. "And how will you plan to... kill me?" She asked curiously, and she dared venture one step back. But now she felt her back press against the cold, damp, dead end of the alleyway.

Jeremy started backing up, unsure what to do about this... Everyone around him was busy with no one to save him. Yesterday his conversation with Evie had been so carefree but now, as he stared into the face of death, it was different.

Luke blinked and started laughing. "Yes, yes you are!" he said, "Thanks for admitting it!" He was knocked back a bit, but not any astounding distance.

Violet started laughing a little, "Wow...coward..." she snort and shook her head in disgust.

Dawn was trying to fight, but it wasn't working out so well. She screamed as one Vulture suddenly cornered her. It was about to strike, but was blown back by a large purple glow, causing Dawn to pass out.

Noble barred his fangs, lunging at Luke and tackling him to the ground- not with ease however.

Jeremy kept backing up, "I'm not a coward!" the boy snarled and narrowed his eyes at Violet.

"Behind you!" I pointed at a werewolf about to pounce on her.

Raquelle spun around and looked it straight in the face, her eyes swirlling in a magically appeasing way.

Violet started laughing a little, "Wow...coward..." she snort and shook her head in disgust.

Jeremy kept backing up, "I'm not a coward!" the boy snarled and narrowed his eyes at Violet.

Mazie, too, was fighting for all it was worth. But at one point, she lost her guard, and she was struck. She was now bleeding heavily from her right side, and slowly, the image of a black wolf faded into the black-haired, fair skinned girl. She was a sitting duck now.

"Woah. . .What's with your eyes?"

Sam Graffin was fighting to the best of his abiality, but he couldn't withstand the power enough to be overtaken

Abigail Hatter was stuck down.

Gabe and Leo were soarign through the air, diving down and trying to help anyone they could.

A Vulture saw this and held up his long blade as soon as Leo came by..

"Arg!" Leo cried, doign a spiral and landing

"NOO!" Gabe cried, diving after his brother

"My power," she breathed in a silky sort of voice. Her power, strange as it seemed, was hypnosis. She could charm or hypnotize anyone of her choosing, miraculously how she stayed alive.

Dawn continued to be a sitting duck..another Vulture heading towards her..

Hope had been carried off to the hospital wing by her sister.

Robert found her, and his eyes visibly widened. He currently wasn't being attacked, and he definitely wasn't attacking--- so as quickly as his legs could manage, he ran to her, appearing by her side. "Dawn!"

Dawn was out cold however, a large gash on her side and a bloody spot on her head that mattered her black hair. She, somehow though, was still breathing.

Robert exhaled in relief, seeing as she was still alive. He held his breath, picked her up, and then disappeared into the trees, his body seeming to morph into one of the shadows.
