"Nate!" I screamed. Johnathen was done with. I ran over to his just as the cops arrived. They told me that Johnathen was dead but Nate might live. They took him away and took my statment. Once I was finished, I was allowed to go to the hospital.

I opened my eyes with difficulty. The first thing I saw was Clarrisa's beautiful face. "Clarrisa." I whispered, kissing her softly.

"You're going to live. He's dead." I smiled, climbing into the bed next to him and wrapping my arms around him, avoiding the injury on his chest.

"Ready to leave?" I asked, streatching. I had spent nights and nights in the mavy blue plastic chair, not leaving his side for a second.

"Yup!" I smiled. Bandages still criss-crossed my chest but I was feeling loads better. We walked out of the hospital together.

"Great," I smiled, driving to his house, fallen police tape dressed onto the grass. I hopped out of the car, walking to the stables in the back.

I led the horses out, already saddled. "Let's go!" I leaped on Thunder and we galloped into the forest.

I pushed myself up on a cream-colored horse with a flowing mane, following him into the forest.

"Oh, you're on." I smirked. "Lake and back." I said, getting ready. "Ready.... GO!" I screamed, skipping the set and galloping towards the lake.

"Wait up!" I called. "Hiyah!" I drove my heels deep into Shadow's flanks. He sped up until we were right next to Clarrisa.

I laughed and whispered something in the horse's ear and she ran a bit faster, piviting at the lake and running back. "Ye-haw!" I exlaimed as we got back home.
