What Happened To The Mods?

I looked at Usergroups, and us mods aren't in Chatterboxes anymore and somehow we can't join the Pollsters! What's going on?

I think they're a hidden group. Only Shad' can make users mods. But I dunno about the pollsters.

I think only a certain amount of people are allowed in those groups and once there's enough people, the groups are closed.

The thing is that now that the chat threads are weekly, it's kind of unrealistic to have so many members. So Jade and I chose four chatterboxes besides herself that we felt were responsible - opening their DCTs on time and such - and removed the others from the group, and closed it. We may go back to the old way of doing this, where the group is open and the threads are daily, but not right now.

Pollsters is closed for pretty much the same reason. We decided that the first four people to apply would be in the group, and then Merry would close it to new members. The members may change based on whether they're responsible with the polls, but yeah. Smile

For now, everything stays the way it is.
