My Riddles. :]

I'll post a riddle, after someone solves it, I'll post another. Yes, this idea was stolen from Merry. =P

Riddle 1:
A man has been out drinking. He leaves the bar and walks home on a desserted country road. He's wearing all black, there are no street lights and no moon or stars are out. A car without its headlights on, turns a corner and speeds toward the man, but manages to swerve out of the way just in time. How did the person in the car see the man?

Answer: It was day!

Riddle 2: (Got it off a lame site, it's pretty easy. )

What happens when you throw a white rock into the Red Sea?

Answer: It sinks!

Riddle 3:

Twelve pears hanging high, twelve men passing by.
Each took a pear and left eleven hanging there.
How can this be?
Solved by Saddle...again. XD
Answer: The guy's name was "Each". (Hah)
Riddle 4:

A man and his son are in a fatal car accident. The man dies, but the son was rushed to the hospital. He goes into surgery and the surgeon says, "I can't operate on him, he's my son." How is this possible?

Answer: The surgeon was the son's mom.

Riddle 5:

A Man Was Going Home Until He Saw A Man With A Mask. Then The Man Going Home Turned And Ran Away. Why?
Solved by Saddle. =P
Answer: It was a baseball game, the man in the hat was the baseball player and he was running home until he saw the man in the mask (the catcher) had the ball so he turned and ran back to third. =]

Heat vision? XD

Wow, it's really obvious now that I think about it. XD It's day!

Yay! Shadow got it right. My teacher told us the riddle and none of us could figure it out, but then she told us the answer and I realized it was so obvious! I'll put up another riddle tomorrow when I get home from my friend's house.

For #3: Is 'each' one guy's name?

Man, I'm gonna have to find some better riddles. So did not take you forever. Like 3 minutes. XD

The surgeon was the man's wife, making her the mom of the son.

Darn. Saddle, you're killing me! I have to go, but I'll post another riddle tomorrow.

I get riddles in school a lot. XD I haven't gotten these, but they've trained me to think about all possible and logical answers. XD

Random guess.....the man in the hat was a police man and the man in the mask was a theif....so he was afraid to run home because he had to catch the theif?

the man in the mask was the Phantom of the Opera and he was trying to catch the person in the hat, who was an anti-Opera singer!

Sorry, but neither are right.

OH!! I KNOW!!! It was a guy in a baseball game running from 3rd base to home. He saw the catcher (in a catcher's mask) had the ball and ran back to third!!!
