Foxtail traveled with her old friend Craidy, thinking about the friends she had left behind. Shrewstar and Eagleflight, the cats who had adopted her. A tear slid down her face but it dissapeared when she saw the Valley. It was wonderful. Magnificent. And as Craidy had told her, hers.

[alright] Aki was sitting in the valley, licking his cream-colored chest.

Foxtail traveled into the valley, her red pelt shining in the sunlight.

Aki looked up and gave a woof of greeting.

Foxtail smiled at the fox, and gazed around at the Valley once more. It was beautiful. Craidy whispered something into her ear. Her face filled with shock. "Me?" She asked him. He nodded.

"Sir Craidy, is this the one?" Aki asked.

"Yes, Aki. It is." Craidy murmured.

Aki gasped, his mouth wide in shock.

Foxtail smiled nervously at him.

Aki smiled a bit at her.

"You socialize." Craidy told her, moving towards the medicine den.
"Well, this is overwhelming." Foxtail blurted out.

"It is? Where do you come from?" Aki asked her.

"The forest of Clans." She said, blushing a bit.

"Oh, I've heard of them. I heard they kill foxes, is that true?"

Her lips formed a tight line. "They killed my mother in defense. She attacked them, and they adopted me."

"Oh." Aki nodded. "What was it like, you being a fox and them being cats? Didn't you want to eat them? Don't you know what cat meat tastes like?"

"Of course not! Cats are my family. I was three days old when my mother was killed. And I was in MutantClan, where anything is accepted. Our leader had only one eye!"

"Wow." He looked at her.

"I miss all of them."

"I can see." he licked her shoulder. "But it's alright. You'll be content here as well as there."

"Maybe." She said, unsure. Eagleflight and Shrewstar's faces drifted through her mind.
