"Yeah," Jake said akwardly.

Jacob wasn't sure how to reply to that, so he finally settled on, "I just met you today..."

'' Yeah but so far you hate me ''she said looking down'' I don't care there are some many people that already pretty much hate me an for the most part that is everyone i meet. ''

"I don't hate you," Jacob said quietly. "Why do you care so much what other people think?"

''' Uh i could care less what people think it was just a question I was asking you I mean if I wanted people to like me then I would be nice if I knew how but I hate being nice so I am mean... ''

"Oh." Jacob sighed loudly. "Well, people will hate you if you're mean."

'' I know that an thats why I don't care what people think of me I am mean its not that I want to be lonely all the time I am just not a nice person an I can't change that.''

"But you can change it, I think," Jacob replied after a moment, deeply troubled by his own words. They seemed like lies as he began to speak them. "Being nice or mean: that's a choice you make, not just the way you are. I could choose to slap you right now, but I don't. It's a choice."

'' Uh lets get this write I don't know how to be nice I am never nice an if I am ew so I better be mean. '' she added looking at him.

"Okay, whatever you say. It was just friendly advice." [WB]

'' Uh okay I mean people who hate me I don't even really hate though '' she said looking down. ''I would love to have someone to do everything with hang out maybe a boyfriend but that is pretty much impossible for me. '' she added

Jacob raised his eyebrows. "I'll hang with you, maybe," he replied. "If you're nice," a grin crept over his features slightly.

'' Uh what why would you want to do that? '' she said looking down.''Besides I mean I can't let my boyfriend well a guy that might become my boyfriend see you with me. '' she added looking down then she thought about it '' Fine I guess we can hang out'' she added.
