I mean you should never have to bury your own babies [Scene of Autumn with blood on her paws]

[The chorus is lip-synced to Autumn]
Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger

Ring around the rosey [Scene of three kittens running in a graveyard]
Pocket full o'posey [Scene of a Posey flower falling]
Ashes to ashes [Scene of a paw slashing through flesh]
{Musical intro}
We all fall down [A bloodied cat falls to the ground]

[The same cat from the beginning is sitting in the same field, but it is raining]
Gravedigger
When you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Oh Gravedigger

Little Mikey Carson '67 to '75 [Picture of Ice, lying on his back laughing]
He rode his bike like the devil until the day he died [Scene of Ice running down the street]
When he grows up he wants to be Mr. Vertigo on the flying trapeze [Scene of Ice jumping from tree to tree]
Oh, 1940 to 1992—[Scene of Ice falling from a ledge into a river]

Gravedigger
When you dig my grave [Scene of Ice in the water, closing his eyes]
could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain [Scene of Autumn, curled up in the snow]
Grave digger
When you dig my grave [Scene of paws hitting dirt]
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain [Scene of it raining]

Gravedigger
When you dig my grave [Re-cap of the cats mentioned]
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
Gravedigger

Shadow nodded thoughtfully as she finished reading Liz's poem. "You should never have to watch your children lowered in the ground?" she said, quoting one of its lines. "That's true, very true . . . good job." She gave Liz a smile. "I like how you've got all the 'stage direction' type things, like for a music video, right?"

"True, and I happen to be animating it." Liz sat down. "You should listen to the song. Quite depressing, but amazingly good."

"Oh, so it's a real song?" she replied with interest, tilting her head slightly. "I think I shall . . . yes, I think I shall." She grinned. "When you're finished animating it, you should try and post it here. I'd love to see it!"

"Well, I'm only about 1/4 of the way done." she smiled a bit. [It's by Dave Matthews.]

"Aw, okay. I can wait, though!" Shadow grinned. It was true; after all, she'd learned to be a very patient person when it came to the internet. "And by the way - you're right. I'm listening to Gravedigger now, and it's cool!" As she grinned, a pair of speakers appeared behind her, playing the music, or at least its last few seconds.

Shadow slowly removed her transfixed eyes from the preview. "Wow. That was actually really good!" she said, grinning. "I was expecting something more like my own kind of digital art, the really crappy stuff . . . eh heh . . ." The werepire awkwardly scratched the back of her head. "But that was better. And the video itself, it was just cool. I can't wait to actually see the whole thing!"

"Yes, I would be doing more right now, but my brother is on the computer I have it saved on." she sighed.
