He checked a clipboard in his back pocket. "Your Avatar isn't ready. Why are you here?" He demanded, his left hand fingering the pistol on his belt.

It was so tempting to facepalm to Alexis. "I'm just going to check on it." She said calmly, carefully keeping eye on his pistol. He wouldn't-- would he?

Alexis wanted to roll her eyes-- but she decided not to. Her mind was screaming to scream at him: SO?! But she only sighed. "Yes. Sir." She said through her teeth.

Oh no. Alexis thought with a small smirk. She went back to her bed and dug under her pillow. She pulled out-- nothing. Just what she wanted. Once the door opened, she was going to split out run to the Avatar's Holding Place. Alexis Smith does not go out without a fight. She thought.

General Callous brought out the pistol in case the annoying little girl came back. He would teach her right.

You're acting so pitiable, she reminded herself. She dragged herself away from her door, heavy-footed. A frown etched to her face like a mask.

It would so be the highlight of my day if my bloody Avatar would present itself... she thought morosely, and paused for a beat, But... maybe it would.

Callous shot a bullet for test and nodded, it was working properly. He reloaded and paced once more.

Alexis jumped about a foot at the bullet. He just had to bring out the gun, didn't he? She thought, biting the inside of her cheek. I'm still gonna do it!

She thought of her Avatar frantically. A smile tugged on her lips frantically. Her heart still beated frantically.

She kept walking aimlessly; until she found an aim, the whereabouts of the creature of her daydreams... the creature in all of her reveries and fantasies - her Avatar. She smilled a double-dealing smile now, as she traded her erratic course for her next - to the Avatar room.

Callous squirted the pepper spray for a test, and tested all his other offensive weapons. It made quite a racket.

Alexis's jaw dropped. Your kidding?! Right?! She thought. While he was still testing things out, she crept up, then darted out the door, blending in with the few others.

He felt a whoosh of air and swiveled around. He fired the three shots, two of them reflected off metal, and he had no idea where the third one went.

The third one-- just happened to pass by Alexis shoulder-- making her jump slightly, but continue to run. She gripped her shoulder, grinding her teeth together.

That one hit her shoe, let alone her leg, which Alexis slipped off and continued running. Now-- both her shoulder and foot where aching. She only kept running, no turning back.

He ran after her. "Stop!" He yelled, his voice booming. He aimed for her back and shot.

Alexis tripped when she heard his voice, and saw the bullet go by. She scrambled to her feet and continued running.

Callous growled and pulled out a sticky grenade. He took out the pin and threw it at the girl.
