Re: Megatokyo
Noah looked up, raising an eyebrow "King of l33t?" he asked "Well then..thank you for honoring me with your presence, and as you can see, I'm already on the ground" Noah's tone was very sarcastic. Who was this guy anyway?

Re: Megatokyo
-----How was this not working?! The pheasant should’ve submitted himself to Largo’s will by now! Utterly aghast, Largo could only stare at him for a moment, but then then he found his words again. “In50l3n7 f00l! 7|-|15 is \/\/4r!” he growled. It was a pity he didn’t have a gun with him . . . the lack of a proper weapon would only make this more challenging.

"Okay, so we have our plan! Let's go!" She raced towards the nearest apartment building without bothering to even explain these plans to Mea.
Mea paused and considered this for a while. After two seconds thought she shrugged and followed Steph.
Re: Megatokyo
-----It wasn’t long before Stephanie had led them up to the steps of a particularly large aparartment-type building. “Right, here we are!” she declared, raising her hands into the air and looking pleased with herself. “You ready for this?”
Re: Megatokyo
"Ready for what?" Me said-Her quiet voice didn't actually go into yelling mode, but this was as close as it could get. She was rather upset that no-one had informed her of the plan.
Re: Megatokyo
”We’re gonna get in by telling someone that we have a package for them,” Stephanie exclaimed, beaming. “If we’re lucky, one of them will understand enough English to be able to let us in! And then we’ll go knock on everyone’s doors and run away! Ding dong ditch times a hundred!”
Re: Megatokyo
"When we get arrested..." She said dryly, pulling the rest of her phrase from midair.
"Don't say I didn't give this little speech."
"Don't say I didn't give this little speech."
Re: Megatokyo
"Oh please, we'll be fine!" Stephanie answered optimistically. "I'm sure we can, like, bargain with the emperor or something if anything goes wrong. I have . . . um . . . foreign goods! Yeah, very valuable! Like an iPod!"
Re: Megatokyo
"Japan's emperor is only a figurehead nowadays...And I would think he'd take your offer of an Ipod as an insult to his intelligence. Not to mention to his nation." Mea was rather shocked by this person's incredible ignorance and decided to correct it.
"There real government is the National Diet, a bicameral parliament. There is the house of representatives and a house of councillors. With a prime minister as head of all this, kinda like Britain."

Re: Megatokyo
((Auuugh! Ten whole days since I replied? What am I doing with my life?!))
"Hmm." Stephanie blinked thoughtfully. "I must thank you, child, I always wondered what was really going on with the rulership here and stuff." Suddenly she grinned, and added, "I was joking, though. I'm sure it won't really come to meeting with the Emperor. We'll be fine!"

Re: Megatokyo
"I'm not a child" Mea muttered-She had always hated it when people were condescending, hated it so very much.
"Sure we will"
{{Well obviously, not replying to me]

Re: Megatokyo
((Sowwy. ._.))
"Actually, we're all children, really. But if you insist," Stephanie said with a shrug. "But let's go, then! We are ready now, right?"

Re: Megatokyo
Stephanie grinned, then wasted no time in pressing one of the buzzers for the apartment building. When a woman answered, Stephanie smothered a giggle. "UPS! UPS! UPS! There's a package for you!" she cried.
Re: Megatokyo
Mea, apparently having no part in this slice of scheme merely sat back and smothered a few giggles at her yelling. And of course, the poor lady on the other side.
Re: Megatokyo
Of course, after a moment of silence, the doors were not opened for Stephanie. She scowled at the intercom, sticking her tongue out, then turned to Mea. "Well, how rude! I suppose it's your turn to try now."
Re: Megatokyo
Mea pressed the buzzer for number 30. An old lady answered...Brilliant.
"Hello, Ma'am, this is UPS with a package for you"
"Oh! How nice"
"Erm, miss, could you let me in?"
"Of course, Just a second."
Taking her hand off the buzzer, she shrugged at Stephanie, somewhat dumbfounded it had worked.
"People always tell me I sound older on the phone"

Re: Megatokyo
Stephanie's jaw dropped. "Dude! That's amazing! How'd you do that?!" As she spoke she moved towards the door, opening it before they had to ask the lady to buzz them in again.
Re: Megatokyo
Mea was tempted to be sarcastic, but she decided to give the girl a break.
Sounding flustered, she shrugged and simply replyed
"I dunno"

Re: Megatokyo
"Woah." Stephanie blinked, contemplating this answer. "Well, I guess we can worry about that later. Right now we need to get inside! Come on, hurry!"
Re: Megatokyo
"Coming..!" She trilled, using the sarcastic sing-song voice she had previously reserved for her mother.
Despite this, she was somewhat excited about this minor infringement the pair was committing. It was a perfect opportunity to put her lying and sneaking around skills to the test.
She wasn't about to tell Steph, though. Mea was just stubborn like that.

Re: Megatokyo
"Come on now, show some excitement! Like this!" Stephanie took a deep breath, then raced off down the hallway while shrieking at the top of her lungs.
Of course she wasn't stupid, though. She was heading for an elevator, where she'd quickly make her escape. The moment she reached it, Stephanie shut up and pressed the up button, then waved at Mea to hurry up and get the heck over here.

Re: Megatokyo
"It's just so..depressing" Mea hated running. However, it didn't seem like there was much option so she ran the length of the hallway (without the shouting at the top of her lungs bit. It hurt her throat terribly, not to mention her dignity) and collapsed into the elevator, recharging for the next bit of sprinting she no doubt had coming for her.
Re: Megatokyo
Stephanie wasted no time in pressing the button to close the door. "Hmm, now, let's see . . . which floor? What do you think, Mea? I can't decide!"
The buttons were just so tempting. If she was left to choose, then they'd likely end up visiting every single floor.
