You (or 'You Say') (Bad title, I know. I couldn't think of a name.)

You say there’s a bit for everybody.
Well, where’s his piece?
You say everybody gets the same.
I believe you just tease.

You promise equal everything.
But why are some young dead and some young living?
You say we’re safe under your wing.
But I don’t agree with the amounts you’re giving.

You say with these amounts you give
Everybody is fine in the world you carve.
Everybody is happy and will live.
Then, why is my belly full while my friends starve?

Your lies form an awful taste in my mouth
When you tell them to the world.
Give all to the north, but none to the south.
Like only the things made with your mold.

You’re unfair and wrong.
But nobody cares to research.
You look at everything, wide and long,
Up where you perch.

And watch so many suffer.
But you don’t seem to care.
In truth, you just bluff.
You leave so many bare.

I don’t understand how you think
You could possibly be right.
One day you’ll realize you’re wrong.
And you’ll start your plight.

Downwards you’ll go,
Down to the darkest of Earth.
And you’ll feel all that you've inflicted on people:
The loss of hope and mirth.
