The Maximum Ride Club

I read it for the plot... I didn't even know there was going to be romance until it started. That doesn't mean I can't like the romance.

Me to >_< I mean about the romance thing - I don't mind romance, but I don't read books for it alone.

Hey, I didn't read it just for the romance, either. ^^ I read it because my friend recommended it to me and I found them to be amazing books. I loved the romance, yet, but it wasn't just the romance that made the book - it was all the action and craziness and ohmygoshtheycanflyness that made me love these. Take away any of those aspects, and Maximum Ride just wouldn't have been quite the same.

You guys know James Pattersin really isn't a romance writer? I've read some of his other books. Very much of the action, but there really wasn't much romance in them XD

I wouldn't say so. Well . . . okay, when you said msytery, you made me think of "ghosts in houses doing stuff" but if you mean "someone takes something important and the main charie goes and finds it" then yeah, I guess so XD

The ghosts wouldn't necessarily be mystery, that'd be more horror, wouldn't it? Mystery is basically anything with a detective needed, IMO... Murders, robberies, etc.

Ghosts . . . detectives . . . they're all related in my mind XD

I read MR because I had to read a book for a project and it was the first that came, but I never got through the whole series. Then, about six months later, I decided I'd read 'em again, and here I am.

Yeah ^^ I read them all recently, as well. I've read the entire series . . . about maybe three times. And I still forget people XP

I read them 'cause Puck did and said they were awesome. After reading them, I completely agree with her. I've read the first book twice, books 2-4 five times, and books 5 and 6 also twice.
