"Gracie has like something similar--doesn't she, J?" she said, glancing at JJ.

JJ nodded. "Yeah," she said with a quiet sigh, nodding.

"Poor things," Tiffy said, with made JJ give her a funny look. Sure enough, Tiffy wasn't being sarcastic for once; she felt bad for the kids, seriously. That made JJ's eyes bug out.

Gracie ran after him.

Kam was sitting in a chair beside a small hospital bed that held a now sleeping Jack. He had bandages wrapped around him, an IV stuck in his little wrist. He was very pale, and had a cast.

Jag was sitting in a chair not to far away, head in his hands.

Gracie was sitting on JJ's lap, who was sitting across from Kam, on the other side of the bed. Gracie's eyes were bright red from crying and she was looking at him; her hand rested gently on his cast. She sniffled once.

Tiffy sat next to Jag; one of her hands was rubbing his back gently, trying to solace him. She felt so bad for the little boy, and even worse seeing that Jag was upset, too. She sighed softly.
