Cyndi was walking across a stage, decently sized and outdoors. It wasn't her area of choice necessarily, but she didn't know where else to go, so she tolerated it. A typical rock band's instruments were provided, and instantly Cyndi landed herself plucking the strings of a bass. Her eye barely twitched at the imperfection of the tuning she wanted, and being the musical perfectionist she was, she began messing with the bass to get it tuned right.

A voice flitted up from behind the stage. Azarath Metrion Zinthos. The words continued on like a metronome. Raven sat back there legs folded, eyes closed and meditating on the words. Ordinarily one might think she had flipped her lid but, if one saw her perform afterwards maybe she was onto something.

The words continued for moments on when she flinched and her eyes opened. Wow, someone needed to fix the tuning on something.

Cyndi noted the words--those three, foreign words. They made no sense to her (except Azarath sounded like Astaroth from a book she read, and Metrion sounded like Metronome.) Whether they had meaning at all, it was strangely... foot-tapping. She had practically been walking to its rhythm, up until she reached the bass, plucked the nasty strings, and they'd stopped.

"What idiot was using this thing?" Cyndi muttered after a lot of notch turning to get the bass up to tune. Just to be sure of it she played the quick nine-second intro to Miss Murder; it was good enough for an audience to be pleased. She looked around to see if the source of those three words had shown themselves.
