Maturity: Huh. Let's think. It's Valentine's Day. And Jasper and I are in it. Figure this one out for yourself. xD

The Cullens and Cupid

"Happy Valentine's Day." Bella said quietly, her golden eyes burning into mine. Having Bella around always made me feel as if I talked to much, since she was so quiet. "The house is decorated, as usual." She smiled. "I could have guessed as much."
There were red and pink heart lights strung everywhere, and the same color streamers hung from every doorway. Alice herself was in a pink, floor-length gown, and somehow she had forced Emmett into a pink suit. I wonder how long that took. Probably longer than it took to hang everything up.
"Amanda!" Alice giggled, yanking me into her bright-pink, heart-covered room. I exited the room in a floor-length, red gown that looked similar to hers.
"Rosalie." I smiled. She was in a white dress, looking angelic and more beautiful than any of us. Edward was waiting by Bella, Emmett with Rosalie, and Carlisle with Esme. Alice was giggling and skipping downstairs. There was one thing missing. And he was walking towards me.
Jasper Whitlock Hale.
He chuckled as he came towards me, dressed in a white suit with a red rose in his hand. "You look beautiful."
My mouth pulled up into a smile, and his golden eyes twinkled as he put the rose into my hand. His lips rested on my forehead for a moment before his hand touched the small of my back. We walked down the stairs, a dazzling smile lighting his face.
Alice giggled, her face alight as well. She snapped a picture, and my eyes rolled. Jasper chuckled. "Come along, Amanda. We have much to do." It was Emmett's turn to roll his eyes. "Have fun, Amanda!"
We walked out to his car, his hand now on my shoulder as he opened the door. I climbed in carefully, attempting not to twist my kigh-heeled ankle.
Jasper smiled brilliantly as he started the car, which made no noise whatsoever. My hand, which was resting inbetween us, was suddenly in his cold grasp, and a smile spread over my face. He chuckled lightly, driving with one hand towards the forest.
He opened the door again, taking my hand and making sure I wasn't going to fall over in my heels. We were at the baseball field, and there was a little trail into the woods. I wondered why Alice had stuck me in a dress and heels if I was going hiking. Sometimes, she made no sense.
Jasper's eyes glimmered, and he lifted me gently into his arms. "Sometimes, Alice's outfits give me an advantage. Close your eyes." I obeyed without question as I felt the wind whistle through my hair.
When I opened my eyes, we were in a meadow that would have blown anyone's mind, including mine. "Happy Valentine's Day."
The back of his hand was stroking my cheek gently. "The classic question: Will you be my Valentine?" Jasper asked quietly, tilting his head to one side. The liquid gold in his eyes was staring into my blue ones, and one side of his mouth pulled into a smile.
"Yes." I whispered. He lifted me lightly into the air, turning in a circle and laughing. "Alice has prepared a dance, if you'd like to go." He said, staring into my eyes. "Of course." I looked up; the full moon was coming out. "Come on, Amanda. Alice will get onto me if we're not there right on time."
. . .
"Did you have a good Valentine's Day?" Jasper asked as we danced in the moonlight. "Of course." I smiled as I swirled under his arm. The music slowly came to a stop, and Jasper and I slowly stood still.
Quietly, he lifted my chin with one finger, and his cold lips brushed mine. "Happy Valentine's Day." And this time, his lips stayed on mine.
