I am not a poet
Try as I might
The words just never
Come out right

I stare at the page
Blank and white
Hoping that something
Will come to light

I tap my pen
And tear out pages
I sit at my desk
And wait for ages

After a while
I start to give up
Loosing hope
And wishing for luck

I am not a poet
