I came back with a waffel covered in syrup and butter stuffed in my mouth. I swallowed it whole and sat on my bed, turning on the tv. "Not much, really."

I combed my fingers quickly through my hair and lay down on my stomach with my head near the foot of the bed, propping my chin up on my hands as I watched the TV. "Anything good on?"
