Her head was facing down now, and her eyes were still closed. "There were three of us. Me, my eldest brother, Beindir, and Teloren." she said his name like poison. "We were quite close siblings when we were young."

"Until Beindir was announced to take the throne." she said after a short pause. "I was only a little bit jealous. But Teloren eased me more into it. And I didn't even realize it, he hid it so well. And.. at one point, he made me seem more jealous then himself."

"He told me how Beindir was always my father's favorite... He would become king when he married." Her gaze became grave. "The day he was supposed to marry, Teloren told me he wanted to talk to him upstairs, to give him a few words of congratulations and to make sure he didn't forget us." she paused, almost shuddering at the memory. "So.. so I did. And Teloren obviously knew I was curious and I wanted to talk to him as well."

Amaria leaned her head against him. "When I got up there, Teloren was standing with a blood-stained blade in his hands. And Beindir was... just laying there... looking cold and.. dead."

[WCL]Etohll gasped silently. So this Teloren.. truly WAS a murderer? He hadn't expected this, but surely, he should have. Teloren was probably a blood-thirsty, power-seeking murderer.. at least that's what Etohll guessed.

"I... I was just too shocked to do anything. I couldn't yell, scream.. The next thing I knew, Teloren had placed the blade in my hands. And he told me Beindir wanted me to have it." she let a grave pause slip by. "He disappeared into thin air. He can do that, he has the gift of small magic. I was still in shock, and I wasn't able to do anything. I wanted to drop the knife, and run. But by the time I regained my senses.. everyone was flooding in."

[WCL]Once again, he almost gasped, it was too hard to let her continue right away. He slowly got closer to her, then kissed her again - he couldn't hear this any longer, not unless she was ready.

Amaria thought she could feel small tears running down her face. "At-at first, Teloren only wanted me out, so he would become ruler. Alone. But then..." Amaria didn't know if she could continue. The next part was too cruel.
(well... there's only two exits.. the obvious door is blocked by people who think she's a murderer and a brother who would love to kill her any day. And the window. Which no one was guarding and was a quick passage to the woods. XD)
