Larein shook her head, placed a finger to her lips and pointed towards a large gate that surrounded the kingdom. "Guards. He never mentioned anything about that." A long line of guards stood before the gate.

Etohll sighed, then crouched down, to find a small hole. He peeked through, then aime his bow, shooting an arrow at one of the guards. "Did I get em'?" he asked Larein.

Larein widened her eyes. "Uh-huh.." she saw some of the guards coming towards them, knifes unsheathed and arrows notched. "Now our problem is how we get out of here alive."

"Crap." he muttered, then rose, and shot an arrow at each and every guard. "These guys are no problem. I've fought Zanter's undead once!"

Larein nodded, feeling guilty that she could only watch. She watched the guards fall. "Let's go before someone sends a signal that we're here!" she jumped out of the bush and ran for the gate.

Larien easily slipped through the gates bars. She heard a distant sound of a warning call. "Etohll.. go to Amaria.. where do all prisoners go? I'll keep them busy! It's going to be now or never!" She stole a knife from a dead guard.

Larein turned to him abruptly. "She's probably in the dungeon, under the kingdom, most likely! If she's prisoner to her brother, that's the obvious place she'd go!" She began to hear louder blasts of warning calls and her heart pounded.

"It's worth a try, Etohll! As far as they know, there may only be one of us here!" She gripped the 'borrowed' knife tighter in her hands.

"I run quickly! And even if I do, I don't mind being a martyr!" she looked around to see if anyone was coming just yet. She tried to remember everything Amaria's brother had told her. I'm usually downstairs, in the dungeon. There's like.. this trapdoor behind a statue. Trust me, you'll figure it out once you're in there. Larein said the words quietly as she remembered them.

"Fine! Why are you acting so fatherly to me?!" she exhaled sharply and began to run for the front entrance.

He said nothing, just a simple growl. Something tried to crawl behind them. Etohll swiftly turned around, shooting an arrow at it, and killing it. "The undead?" he asked. "There are Necromancers here too!?" he exclaimed. He paused breifly, to think momentarilly. "I thought the Necromancers lived in Zanter's Kingdom?... Unless.." He shot an arrow at some area, it looked empty, but it wasn't.
"You!" he exclaimed, then swore. "Who told you to shoot me with your freakin' arrow!?" Zanter growled, pulling out the knife he carried, and almost flinging it at Etohll.
"Just shut up for a second Zanter, and think before you open your mouth like that. Think, and tell me.. WHY ARE YOU HERE?"
"Why should I tell you why I'm here?" he hissed, rolling his eyes.
"See? This is why we never get along. Your the brainless fool of us both."
Zanter hissed again. "Shut up." he snapped.
Etohll sighed, shooting another arrow at him. "Down you go."
Zanter took one step aside, allowing the arrow to keep going, until it hit a wall, and fell down. "Kill me, and you go down with me."

Larein turned around when she realized Etohll wasn't following her. She turned and began to run back. "What are you waiting...?" then she realized the other king that was there. I REALLY deserve to die.. leading Etohll into this mess!

"Oh and who's this little person?" he asked, slightly insultingly.
"Like it matters to a king who needs insult lessons." he muttered, rolling his eyes.
Zanter growled loudly, throwing his knife at Etohll.
Etohll ducked, then laughed. "HA! Missed me-- Oh crap." he muttered, as he noticed the knife would keep going straight. "LAREIN! DUCK!" he explaimed. Please don't think I meant I found a duck... he though.

Larein dropped her to knees and the knife barely missed her. "Thanks!" she wished she had the skill of throwing blades. Or better, a skill or using any weapon at all.

"You'll pay for that." he muttered to Zanter, then shot an arrow swiftly at him.
Zanter was hit, and fell on the ground.
"Crap. I think he's dead."
"Why the heck would I die to your stupid arrow!?" he pulled the arrow out, throwing it on the ground, stepping on it, then it broke.

Larein gulped. Only adding to my fears.. she ran up to Etohll's side and lifted her blade in defense. "I just hope there's enough time for this." she said softly.

Teloren turned abruptly to the sound of warning calls. "Oh would you notice that.." he grinned evilly.
Amaria turned as well, then slowly returned her gaze to Teloren.
"It seems your dear king loves you after all." he fingered the hilt of his knife.

"Well?"
"I prefer Riley over you." he muttered.
"Oh yeah, prefer the one who actually has a heart!" he exclaimed.
"I have no heart!?" he gasped.
Zanter smacked his forehead. "Fine, you have no brain."
"Yes, I know you have no brain."
Zanter paused, and kept silent. He walked towards his knife, and bent down to grab it. Once he held it, he kept silent. He moved his hands slightly, creating someone from the undead, then commanding it to do something. The undead creature ran towards Etohll, then tried to munch on his head.
"Oh. This is just great." he rolled his eyes.

"I've got it." Larein aimed a blow to the back of the creature's neck, being careful not to hit Etohll.
