Serena bit her lip and looked down at the letter once again. It couldn't possibly be true... or could it? She didn't know, and it was painful to read the words. But she read them over and over again. Her brother... a Slayer?

Alissa smiled to herself, and then walked into her room, she picked out a soft yellow one piece, and an extra change of clothes. She put the extra clothes in a beach bag that she used whenever she went to the beach. She slipped her sandals on her feet, got a towel, and then walked to the lake.

Seth was waiting at the dock, his shirt and towel laying beside him, along with his shoes. He seemed to be happier, just by the look on his face.

Alissa set her things down on the shore, and snuck up behind him, "You look happy," She laughed softly, smiling. She looked happy, too, even though she always had a bright smile over her features.

Alissa returned his small grin with a bright smile, "I wonder if Ethen caught what happened back there on tape..." She shuddered at the thought.

Ethen, in fact, had caught it on video. "Jacob!" He phased through the door of his room, grinning.

"Okay, guess what? Seth and Alissa like each other, dude. You know what-- just watch," Ethen's words were rushed and quiet, as if he suspected one of the Dresdins to pop in and strangle him. He put the disk in the TV and what he recorded began to play.

Alissa smiled weakly, "Well, are we gonna swim, or what?"

"Woow.." Jacob said, watching it "I should have known, he usually tells me everything. And he was always so happy when he was hanging out with her..." he said with a grin "I can sooo bug him now"

"Yeah, we are" he said, jumping in.

Ethen grinned, "Same for Alissa, I should have asked Sophie to read her mind whenever she was around him..." He chuckled.

Alissa laughed, and jumped in as well, her head popping out of the water. Her hair had somehow flipped when she was underwater, so now all of it was in her face.

Jacob rubbed his hands together "That would have been a good idea. She could have read Seth's also.." he chuckled

Seth didn't come back up infront of her, but behind her and he grinned "Boo"

Alissa looked around, pulling her hair out of her face. She figured he was going to pop up eventually. When he said 'boo' she let out a yelp, turning around in the water, "Seth!" She laughed.

"Wonder what they're doing now, since I left them alone..." Ethen trailed off. He picked up a pair of binoculars from his pocket, and looked out of the window, "Yep, they're at the lake."

"Wanna go bug the two love birds?" he asked with a grin.

"I was so waiting for you to ask that," Ethen laughed, grinning, and nodding his head. "Let's go!" He then phased right through the door.

Alissa splashed him lightly, shaking her head with a laugh. She treaded the water for a few moments, and caught sight of her brother, Ethen. "Oh Lordy." She rolled her eyes, "Here comes Ethen."

Alissa rolled her eyes at her twin, getting water in her mouth, and spitting it at him.

"Ew, Alissa!" Ethen shook his hair of the water she had just spit on him. "I'm leaving before you go all water gun on me," He laughed, walking away.

"Don't make me spit water at you, Jacob." Threatened Alissa.
