The Dragon Emporium, Book 1: Secrets to be Told [NEW PART, CLOSE PLEASE!]

Desarae, has somehow passed through the entrance of Gressil's hideout, and was now passing through the dimly lit hallways, a determined look on her face, even though if you looked closely, you could see that she was trembling. She was looking for Danny's cell, trying not to make much noise. She pressed her ear against the wall, and softly knocked, little did she know, that she had picked the right cell- Danny's cell.

Danny looked up, the knocking had came from the dirt wall beside him. He reached up and knocked back, hoping it was someone to save him.

Desarae let out a sigh of relief, "Danny?" She whispered, hoping that it was him. "Stand back," She told him, and getting out a hammer that she had concealed in her bag, she gave a good whack at the wall, causing it to crumble.

Danny felt the lights for the first time since the battle, and sighed happily, looking at her with large scarred eyes "D-D-De-Des" He stuttered out, the 6 year old clearly pleased.

Desarae smiled at him, tearing up a bit. Poor Des was a mess, she had a bruise on her neck, her hair was down, and a bit messy, but decent. She hugged her little brother, "I'm here," She whispered.

Danny wrapped his frail arms around her neck, closing his eyes. He would be crying, but he had been crying so much it seemed like he couldn't cry anymore.

"Sh..." Desarae whispered, opening her eyes, and standing up, Danny still in her arms. She kept one arm holding him up, and the other arm on his back, also supporting him. She kept one of her hands on the back of his head, stroking his hair, and with that, she began to speed-walk out of that horrible place.

{Hey, guys! Wl, Snakes, continue?}

"Um, yes, wait, no." Joe said, as the
question registered in his head. He was all confuzzled of late, for a
reason he never told anybody.

Hazel sighed softly. "OK." she mouthed as clearly as she could. She crouched at his feet and dragged her finger through the dirt, writing;

My Name Is Hazel. Can You Understand Me Now? I Cannot Speak.

[Surez!]

As one of the agents ran forward, Ava lifted her hand, and he suddenly flew backwards, hitting a tree.
As soon as most of them were knocked out, and the rest had ran away, there was a slow clapping sound, coming from behind them.
Ava spun around, "Damon!" She called out, her fist clenching. She whispered to Hedwig, "No thanks," she smiled weakly.
"Bravo," Damon chuckled as he stepped out of the shadows, clapping his hands slowly.

Hope sighed "Are you alright?" She asked, looking over at him

Kelly got out also, running over to her and Hope's things before drying off quickly with her towel.

Danny had his arms wrapped around her neck, and was wanting to get out of the place as soon as possible.

As soon as Desarae had cleared Gressil's hideout, she sighed with relief, "You're so skinny..." She whispered. She could see his little ribs. But Desarae was the same, you could even feel her bony shoulders.

Hedwig flew over and floated in front of Damon's face. "You're funny looking," she said in a disgusted tone, her nose wrinkling.

"HEDWIG!" Harry hissed, his eyes narrowing. "Get over here RIGHT NOW!"

Hope sighed "Are you alright?" She asked, looking over at him

Kelly got out also, running over to her and Hope's things before drying off quickly with her towel.

Tim looked back over at her, his gray eyes distant. "Of course not," he murmured, shaking his head a little.

Jami jogged in place, bored. "Common, Kelly!"

"Gressil would only feed me some bread and water every few days" He said quietly, looking up at her.


"Are you still upset about Lizzie?" She asked quietly

"I'm comin' I'm comin'" SHe said, rolling her eyes and walking up towards the DE

Jami trotted next to her. "My brother looks a lot like me," he began to explain, "Except he's only three years old, much blonder, and his eyes are like super-duper bright bright blue."

Tim nodded. "Hope, upset would be an understatement," he murmured, looking away. "My heart hurts." But yet, being near her sort of numbed the pain--and made him feel totally guilty. Warren would kill him if he went after his girlfriend--it was wrong, but....

Damon's eyes narrowed at the dragon, "I may be funny looking," He hissed, his eyes turning an alarming, and almost frightening gold color, "But at least I'll be the one getting the last laugh, in this situation." He held up his sword, about to strike at the dragon, when--

Ava lifted her hand, pointing at Damon, and just as he was about to strike, his sword flew out of his hand, and hit a tree.

Desarae teared up a bit, kissing her brother's head as she continued to walk, "When we get back, the first place I'm taking you is the lunch room, I promise." She smiled at him weakly.

"Alright....." She said, looking around for a three year old with that description.

Hope frowned and sighed. She loved Warren but still...at the same time..she still had feelings for TIm. And truth be told, seh probably only got close to Warren was because Tim loved Lizzie..

"Okay" He said, nodding his little head, resting it on her shoulder.

Hedwig screamed. She zipped back to Ava, becoming small enough to sit in her ear and cry softly. "I don't like him," she breathed, trembling in fear.

Harry said nothing, just glared at Damon. What could he say? He wanted to scold Hedwig, but he couldn't.

Freddy was running down the hall, screaming at the top of his lungs...for absolutely no reason.

"THERE HE IS!"

Tim looked away again. He wiggled out of his soggy shirt and let it sink to the bottom--it was old, and he didn't need it now anyway. He chewed on his lip for a moment, savoring the silence that wasn't awkward at all. In fact, the silence was...peaceful.

Desarae stepped into the Dragon Emporium, looking around for a few moments. She then began to walk down the long hallway, and into the lunchroom. She got out a tray, "What do you want to eat?" She whispered to him, looking over at the skinny-looking child.

"I know," She whispered back to her, "I don't like him either." She kept her hand pointed at Damon, eyes narrowed, as she tilted her head, hearing Damon's thoughts, "I'll tell them, you know!" She called over to him.
"Oh, you mean your precious brothers and sisters? They'll never believe you, darling baby sister, they don't even know that you exist." He laughed, and disappeared.

Kelly ran after him, trying to catch the child

She sighed, looking over at him and finally muttered, maybe just loud enough for him to hear "I'll always have fealings for you Tim..."

He stood on his tip toes, his baggy shirt clinging to his tiny shoulders "Hm...chicken nuggets" He said, looking up at his older sister.

Desarae smiled at her little brother, rubbing her eyes with the backs of her hands before Danny were to notice that she was crying a bit. She got out a small basket with ten chicken nuggets, and fries. "You want some water?" She asked him, holding up a bottle of water.

Danny was almost drooling over the chicken nuggest and then looked up at her, nodded "Yes please!"

Tim froze. He looked over at her for a moment, forgetting to keep himself afloat. He sank under a little, which startled him--he flailed violently, crying out in surprise, and mentally kicking himself for making it look like he hated her or something.

Freddy's scream rose in pitch and he ran faster.

"Get over here, twerp!" Jami shouted, running after him, too.

Hedwig returned to normal size and flew over to Harry. "We're never coming out in the forest ever again," she sobbed.

"Shh," he stroked her, silent. He wondered what that had been about, but didn't ask.

Desarae smiled at her little brother, picking him, his food, and his water up, and sat him down at a table, setting out the food and the water for him, "Here you go," She said, sitting beside him.

Ava lowered her hand, looking over at Harry, "If you ask nicely, I'll explain what just happened in the past five minutes, once we get back." And she began to walk towards the Dragon Emporium.

Hope bit her lip and looked as if she was going to burst into tears at any moment. She swam up to the shoor, stumbling up it and running as fast as her legs would carry here in a random direction.

Kelly ran faster, finally snatching him up in her arms

Danny dug hungerly into the food, looking as starved as a streat dog. He slowed down after alittle bit and slowly chewed ona french fry before looking up at her "Thank you"
