Katana smiled down at Alsuke's little brother warmly, her eyes warm. This was a complete act. She had observed as they planned, people around them... women seemed to fawn over children and children seemed to like it. Although it disgusted her, and she knew Alsuke would completely see through it, all's that was important was to keep the kid happy and away from telling his father.

Katana did not react in the slightest. She'd learn more about this by watching Alsuke's conversation with his brother like a quiet, good little girl.

Katana just sat back and stared, letting her Inner Katana swear profusely as she mentally stomped and hollered for vengeance; and her comrade's and most of his family's freedom.
