"I don't run the kingdom, father does" she said, thinking he would know that. "I do plan on doing so soon though."

"Yes, A queen alone and I'll run the kingdom" she said. "Have pity on me for not wanting a king at my side. But I'd prefer being a peasant then getting married" she said.

(IDK. History lessons? If this is the 1600s, she would probably already been dead, because she died in 1603.)
