"So, what was your life like before you came here?" he asked as they walked, glancing at her.

"Okay, I guess," I said. "My dad died a few days after I was born, so it was just me and my mom for most of my life." I tried keep my voice steady as I spoke. "My mom died a few months ago and I've just been wandering around, going place to place. Then I came here. What about you?"

"Sounds like things have been tough for you," he said with an apologetic smile. "I was in a herd before this, but I left eventually . . ." He shook his head, looking up. "I know it's gonna sound really cheesy, but I just felt like I didn't belong. I wanted a fresh start."

((How she got her name? My aunt had a dog before Milleia and that dog died. Sad

And she was sad and said she would never get another dog. Her friend Millie told her she should get another dog and stop being so sad. So my aunt told her she'd get a new dog and name it after her. But my aunt's brother is obsessed with Star Wars and wanted to name it Leia. So Milleia is a combo of Millie and Leia. So it's pronounced Muh-lay-uh. (kinda. xD) Milleia. Smile

((Her brother is seriously crazy about Star Wars. xD His wedding invatation (that looks spelled wrong....) was a video that was like the opening of the movies. The words about the wedding went up the screen over a field of stars. xD))
